Meet the Changemakers: 3ZERO Social Impact Lab Cohort 1. 🌍

Bhuiyan Tahseen Binte Islam, a Cohort 1 graduate and 3ZERO Club member (Club ID: 050-001-0664) from Bangladesh, is helping young people build practical skills and prepare for future careers.

The initiative focuses on workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and digital skills, helping young people feel more prepared for the workplace.

So far, it has reached over 150 people directly and around 2,000 indirectly. Tahseen’s work contributes to zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship for all by helping young people build the skills and confidence they need to pursue better opportunities.

We recently hosted three information sessions at BCIC School and College, where around 300 students joined us for an engaging conversation on the 3ZERO Club Initiative and the role young people can play in building a more sustainable and inclusive future. 🌱

The session was filled with genuine curiosity and engaging discussions as students learned about the 3ZERO vision and shared their ideas on how they can contribute through their own actions and initiatives.

It was encouraging to see the students reflect on how they can help build a future with zero net carbon emissions, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship for all. 🌍

Meet the Changemakers: 3ZERO Social Impact Lab Cohort 1. 🌍

Fozle Rabbi, a Cohort 1 graduate and 3ZERO Club member, is helping women and young people build skills and income opportunities through Greenova. 🌿

Greenova trains women and young people to make eco-friendly jute products while encouraging communities to choose sustainable alternatives to plastic.

The initiative directly supports around 45 women, while its message has reached nearly 15,000 people through schools, families, and local communities. Fozle’s work contributes to zero net carbon emissions, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship for all.

Meet the Changemakers: 3ZERO Social Impact Lab Cohort 1. 🌍

Yusuf AbdulBasit, a Cohort 1 graduate and 3ZERO Club member (Club ID: 458-021-0105), is making creative learning safer and more natural for children through BEBEArt. 🖍️

BEBEArt creates natural art materials using beeswax, soy wax, and plant-based colours, giving children safer alternatives for creative learning. So far, the initiative has reached around 30 people directly and 300 people indirectly.

Yusuf works with parents, teachers, and preschools to bring more sustainable materials into children’s learning spaces. His work also promotes natural and biodegradable alternatives that contribute to the vision of zero net carbon emissions.

Every young person carries a different story, comes from a different context, faces different challenges. But many of their aspirations are the same: to be heard and to build something better.

This International Youth Day, we're celebrating the 36,300+ young people in the 3ZERO Club community, trying new things, working with others, and taking action in their own communities.

Together, these small steps are bringing us closer to a world of zero net carbon emission, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship in all. 🌍

At the 16th Social Business Day, early pioneers of Grameen Bank came together to look back on a journey that began five decades ago. A member of the Grameen family also shared the quiet but powerful impact the Bank has had on her life.

Her story was a reminder that behind every movement are people whose lives carry its meaning forward.

Throughout the initiative, you generously shared your time, knowledge, and experiences with our participants. Your guidance, honest feedback, and constant encouragement gave them the confidence to shape their ideas into meaningful community projects.

Every conversation, challenge, and piece of advice made a difference. We truly appreciate your commitment to supporting the next generation of young changemakers.

A small idea can go a long way when people come together to bring it to life. 🌍

The nine community projects from Cohort 1 of the 3ZERO Social Impact Lab have already reached more than 4,500 people across different communities. Through these initiatives, 770 people have been directly supported, while another 3,635 people have been reached indirectly.

Behind these numbers are young people stepping up, identifying challenges, and working with their communities to build solutions.

This is only the beginning. We’re excited to see how these ideas continue to grow and reach even more communities in the days ahead.
