In domestic violence percentage of women and children oppression is horrible. According to PHR statistics 2011 and BBS statics 2011, 53% women are being oppressed physically, mentally, and sexually by her husband. 87% women are tortured physically, mentally or sexually by her husband at least once in her life. The reasons of this violence can be dowry, misuse of male dominating power, weak financi
al condition.
‘Men Against Domestic Violence’ is a holistic program for stopping this violence as much as possible. So, SOPNO is thinking differently in this perspective. If men becomes active himself to aware to keep them away from this heinous crime, this violence can be stopped at a pleasant rate. Today’s students of college and universities will be the guardian of a family; they will conduct a family. So, our targeted group is college and university students. If they can be aware, domestic violence can be controlled. Female students can also be aware about their rights and if they become a victim of domestic Violence, they can take the help of laws. Again these aware students will aware others. For stopping this violence our activities are as following:

‘Men Against Domestic Violence’ has been launched by Non Governmental Development Organization, Society for Ordinary Peoples Necessary Opportunities (SOPNO). We will try our best to make a safe domestic condition for all. Join hands and together put an end to these heinous crimes.
