গভীর বেদনা ও ক্ষোভের সাথে ঢাকার পল্লবীতে শিশু রামিসা আক্তারের ওপর সংঘটিত ধর্ষণ ও নৃশংস হত্যাকাণ্ডের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ ও নিন্দা জানাচ্ছি। একটি নিষ্পাপ শিশুর জীবন এভাবে নির্মমভাবে থেমে যাওয়া শুধু একটি পরিবারের শোক নয়, এটি পুরো সমাজের মানবিকতা, নিরাপত্তা ও ন্যায়বিচার ব্যবস্থার প্রতি বড় এক প্রশ্নচিহ্ন।

আজ রামিসা আমাদের বিবেককে নাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে। আমরা এমন একটি সমাজে বাস করতে পারি না, যেখানে শিশুরা নিরাপদ নয়, যেখানে অপরাধীরা বারবার পার পেয়ে যায়, আর পরিবারগুলো ন্যায়বিচারের জন্য দীর্ঘ প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে। শিশুদের প্রতি সহিংসতা কোনোভাবেই স্বাভাবিক বা উপেক্ষার বিষয় হতে পারে না।

AID-COMILLA বিশ্বাস করে, প্রতিটি শিশুর নিরাপদ শৈশব, মর্যাদাপূর্ণ জীবন এবং ভয়মুক্ত পরিবেশে বেড়ে ওঠা একটি মৌলিক অধিকার। তাই আমরা সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে জোর দাবি জানাচ্ছি—
• রামিসা হত্যা মামলার দ্রুত ও নিরপেক্ষ তদন্ত নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
• অপরাধীদের অবিলম্বে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির আওতায় আনতে হবে।
• শিশু নির্যাতন ও যৌন সহিংসতার মামলাগুলোর দ্রুত বিচার নিশ্চিত করতে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে।
• শিশু সুরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা, আইনি সহায়তা ও ভুক্তভোগী পরিবারের নিরাপত্তা জোরদার করতে হবে।

রামিসার জন্য ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করা শুধু একটি মামলার বিচার নয়; এটি বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি শিশুর নিরাপত্তা ও মানবাধিকারের প্রশ্ন। আসুন, আমরা সবাই অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার হই এবং শিশুদের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ, মানবিক ও সহিংসতামুক্ত সমাজ গড়ে তুলি।

🔰On 07/05/2026, AID-COMILLA successfully conducted several awareness and support activities across different camps to promote protection, wellbeing, and community engagement. 🌸

📍 Camp-22, Block B-01
An unstructured Group Care & Support Session was conducted on PSEA and Entertainment Basket activities, facilitated by Rashida (Rohingya Volunteer). A total of 10 women participants attended the session, including 01 PWD participant. 🤝

📍 Camp-13, Block A, Sub-block A1
Two female outreach sessions were conducted on Lifesaving GBV Risk Mitigation and Awareness. The discussions focused on Sexual Violence and Measles Virus awareness to help participants stay informed and protected. 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧

📍 Camp-15, Block G, Sub-block G-5
Two male outreach sessions were also conducted on Lifesaving GBV Risk Mitigation and Awareness, covering topics on Sexual Violence and Measles Virus. The sessions were facilitated by Khairul Amin. 📢

These activities were funded by Tice Brown and Sarah Katz, Jacob and Annie Ma-Weaver, and implemented by AID-COMILLA.

Today, the Graduation Ceremony of the Focused Care and Support session participants was celebrated at the Integration Center, Camp-13. 🎓

CMS provided small appreciation gifts to honor the participants’ journey, dedication, and achievements. It was a joyful and meaningful occasion for all. ✨

🗓️ On 5 May 2026, AID-COMILLA organized outreach and support sessions at Camp-15 and Camp-22, focusing on awareness, safety, and community support. 🌍✨

At Camp-15 (Block G, Sub-block G-11), two outreach sessions were held with male participants on GBV risk awareness. Topics included sexual violence and the measles virus. The sessions, led by Khairul Amin, created a safe space for open discussion and helped reduce stigma around talking about sexual violence. 🤝🛡️ Photo credit: Md. Hashem. This activity was funded by Tice Brown and Sarah Katz, and Jacob and Annie Ma-Weaver. 🙏

On the same day, an Unstructured Care & Support Session (Session-01) was held at Camp-22 (BPRM), Block-A5. Facilitated by Khurshida Aktar, the session focused on PSEA and memory recall. A total of 10 participants (aged 25–49), including 1 person with disability (PWD), joined the session. 👥💬 It encouraged sharing, participation, and better understanding of protection issues.

These sessions show AID-COMILLA’s ongoing effort to build awareness, support people, and promote safer communities. 💙🌱
