International Women’s Day | Raise Rohingya Initiative (RRI)

On this International Women’s Day, Raise Rohingya Initiative (RRI) proudly honors the courage, resilience, and strength of women around the world, especially Rohingya women who continue to endure hardship with remarkable dignity.

Despite facing displacement, injustice, and many challenges, Rohingya women remain pillars of their families and communities. Their determination, compassion, and perseverance inspire hope even in the most difficult circumstances.

Today, RRI recognizes the vital role women play in building stronger and more resilient communities. We stand in solidarity with all women and reaffirm our commitment to advocating for their rights, dignity, and equal opportunities.

Let us continue working together to ensure a future where every woman and girl can live with safety, respect, and the opportunity to thrive.

Cash Assistance for Fire-Affected Families in Camp 16.

We, the Raise Rohingya Initiative (RRI), in collaboration with Serve for Distress , provided emergency cash assistance to more than 100 fire-affected families in Camp 16. This support was extended to households whose needs were critically urgent.

All beneficiary families were systematically identified and listed prior to the distribution to ensure their needs and fairness. The cash assistance will be used mainly for repairing damaged shelters and for urgent medical support, helping families begin their recovery with dignity.

Special thanks to Ayat U Shipo ( Founder of Serve For Distress ) for standing along with the fire effected victims.

Thanks also to our founder Sha Hin Sha Mg !!
