🌿 Training/Refresher Session – Camp 3

On 24 September 2026, Jago Nari Unnayon Sangstha (JNUS) organized a Training/Refresher Session for Volunteers on Safeguarding, Gender & PSEA, Disability Inclusion, and Community Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM) at JNUS Warehouse-1, Camp 3.

👥 A total of 34 volunteers participated in two sessions. The training was highly interactive and participatory, encouraging volunteers to actively share their experiences, reflections, and field-level challenges.

The session focused on strengthening volunteers’ knowledge, awareness, and practical application of safeguarding, PSEA, gender equality, disability inclusion, and CFRM principles in their day-to-day field activities.

🌸 Empowering Adolescent Girls for Sustainable Menstrual Hygiene Practices 🌸

Today, JNUS-WASH conducted a session on “Formation and Facilitation of Adolescent MHM Group for Sustainable Behaviour Change” with adolescent girls at D Block.

The session focused on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), adolescent group formation, active participation, peer learning, and promoting sustainable hygiene practices. The initiative aims to create a safe and supportive space where adolescent girls can share knowledge, build confidence, and contribute to positive hygiene behaviour change within their communities.

Together, we can strengthen the voices, knowledge, and leadership of adolescent girls and help build healthier and more empowered communities. 💜

JNUS WASH Project

As part of the JNUS WASH Project, NFI (Non-Food Items) are being distributed among vulnerable community members at Camp 3.

This initiative aims to support families with essential items while promoting improved hygiene, dignity, and well-being within the community.

JNUS remains committed to delivering inclusive, gender-responsive, and community-centered WASH support for Rohingya refugees and vulnerable communities.

Community Capability Building & Training Sessions Rohingya Response.

JNUS Livelihood Project.

JNUS–DRC, with support from ECHO, is conducting ongoing Community Capability Building Training at Block B, Camp 10.

At the same time, under the EcRec Project, a training session is also ongoing at Block B, Camp 8E.

These training sessions aim to strengthen community knowledge, skills, participation, and leadership, enabling community members to contribute more effectively to identifying challenges and developing locally led solutions.

Through continued capacity building and meaningful community engagement, JNUS remains committed to empowering communities, strengthening resilience, and advancing inclusive and locally led humanitarian action.

🌸 Management Meeting of Jago Nari Unnayon Sangstha Held

Today, 6 July 2026, Jago Nari Unnayon Sangstha (JNUS) held its Management Meeting.

The meeting focused on key organizational priorities, including ongoing activities, project implementation progress, budget and financial management, future action plans, programme coordination, and organizational development.

The Management Team reaffirmed its commitment to working collectively to strengthen and further advance JNUS as a strong, accountable, effective, and women-led organization.

Together for stronger leadership, greater impact, and a more inclusive society. 🌿

💧 Strengthening WASH Services in Camp-3 JNUS

Today, Mohammad Kaykuzzaman Bhai, Project Manager – PF & SHIFT, along with the BRAC team, visited the JNUS catchment area in Camp-3 and observed our ongoing WASH interventions.

The team visited the Women Hygiene Centre (WHC), Water Network and Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and reviewed the progress and impact of our work.

This visit also reflects the strong journey of JNUS with BRAC—built on collaboration, dedicated efforts and continuous technical support. Through this partnership, JNUS has been able to strengthen comprehensive and inclusive WASH services for the Camp-3 community.

From safe water, sanitation and hygiene promotion to MHM, waste management and inclusive facilities, every step has been a valuable learning experience.

We sincerely appreciate BRAC’s continuous technical guidance and support, which has contributed significantly to improving the quality and sustainability of our WASH interventions.
