empowering youth through awareness and community action to build a healthier, more sustainable future. Youth Co-operative and Civil Society (YCCS) is a dynamic youth-led organization committed to driving sustainable development and creating long-lasting community impact across Bangladesh. YCCS works closely with young people, empowering them to become changemakers in their communities through know

ledge, leadership, and action. Our initiatives cover six major UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 5: Gender Equality
SDG 6: Clean Water & Sanitation
SDG 13: Climate Action
SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions

conducts community outreach, awareness campaigns, youth leadership training, capacity-building workshops, and grassroots development projects to promote equality, environmental responsibility, and social justice. We focus on creating accessible learning opportunities, promoting health and hygiene, supporting gender equity, strengthening youth participation in civic spaces, and building climate-resilient communities. By uniting passionate young leaders and mobilizing local resources, YCCS aims to build a healthier, safer, and more inclusive society where every individual can contribute to sustainable progress.

Advancing the conservation of marine biodiversity through collective action. 🌊

Committed to the conservation of marine biodiversity, recognizing our shared responsibility toward protecting ocean ecosystems.
As youth participants under the initiatives of NACOM and GIZ, Youth Co-operative And Civil Society (YCCS) members engaged in this field-based learning experience to explore coastal ecosystems, understand marine biodiversity, and strengthen their dedication toward sustainable marine and coastal resource management.

Today, we are delighted to announce that our partnership with IPYG Global 03 has been officially completed. 🤝
IPYG works towards promoting peace around the world, and through this collaboration, we will work together to contribute to building a peaceful world.
This marks the beginning of a new journey where we will work hand in hand to empower youth, promote peace, and create meaningful change in our community.

🚨 কালবৈশাখী ঝড়ের জরুরি সতর্কতা 🚨

বর্তমানে প্রবল কালবৈশাখী ঝড় ও ভারী বৃষ্টিপাত চলছে। তীব্র বাতাসে গাছপালা ভেঙে পড়ছে এবং বিভিন্ন স্থানে ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ পরিস্থিতি সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।

⚠️ ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ এলাকায় বসবাসকারী সবাইকে অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে—
আজ রাতের মধ্যেই নিরাপদ স্থানে অবস্থান নিন। অপ্রয়োজনীয় বাইরে বের হওয়া থেকে বিরত থাকুন এবং সর্বোচ্চ সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন।

Youth Co-operative And Civil Society (YCCS) proudly participated in the discussion session and Iftar gathering titled “Promoting National Volunteer Policy & Global Volunteer Standards (GVS)”, organized by JYDA Bangladesh and Supported by VSO Bangladesh.

Representing the organization, Founder Morshed Chowdhury Sakib attended the program held in Cox’s Bazar, where leaders and representatives from various youth and volunteer organizations of the district joined to exchange ideas on strengthening volunteerism and building a more coordinated and sustainable volunteer movement.

The discussion emphasized the importance of implementing the National Volunteer Policy and Global Volunteer Standards (GVS) to ensure effective, safe, and impactful volunteer engagement.

During the session, Founder of YCCS, Morshed Chowdhury Sakib, stated:
“Volunteerism is not just an activity; it is a powerful force for social change. Through the dedication, ethics, and leadership of young people, we can build a humane, just, and sustainable society.”

We believe that such initiatives create stronger collaboration among civil society and youth-led organizations and will play an important role in expanding humanitarian and social efforts in the future.

WE ARE COMING TO COX'S BAZAR!

We want to understand how solutions based on lived experiences look like.

As a part of "Bridging the Gender Gap" project by Youth for NDCs with support from বহ্নিশিখা Bonhishikha - unlearn gender & SheRAA Women's Climate Resilience and Adaptation Alliance, we are organizing the second "Bridging Consultation on Identifying the Real Solutions to the Gender Gap" at Cox's Bazar on 16th March.
We will take deep dive into the solutions our stakeholders from Cox's Bazar have to offer.

We are honored to have JYDA Bangladesh, MAGIC Initiative, Youth Co-operative And Civil Society and SSD Youth Foundation as our partners for this consultation
