This World Cleanup Day, our community joined hands to reduce waste, restore our surroundings, and protect the planet for future generations.

5th August, 2024 – Rohingya Massacre

In a desperate attempt to escape the renewed wave of violence in Maungdaw, a Rohingya family from Mong Nyi Para tried to flee across the Naf River to reach safety in Bangladesh. As the boat capsized, the children cried out for help, “O Baba, save me… I am drowning.” Helpless and heartbroken, the father could only watch as his children were swallowed by the water. This haunting tragedy reflects the unbearable cost of persecution – where hope dies before reaching the shore.
