Standing with Flood-Affected Communities in Teknaf
In response to the recent monsoon floods in Teknaf, Support for Humanitarian Aid Youth Society with the generous support of ActionAid Bangladesh, successfully conducted an emergency humanitarian response for flood-affected families.
Together with our dedicated youth volunteers and local partners, we reached 380 flood-affected families (approximately 1,900 people) with life-saving emergency assistance, including:
👉Dry food packages
👉Safe drinking water
👉Emergency tarpaulins
👉Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS)
👉Dignity kits
We sincerely thank for their trust, guidance, and support, which enabled us to respond quickly and effectively during this critical time.
We also appreciate the dedication of our volunteers and community members who worked tirelessly to ensure that assistance reached those most in need.
As floodwaters and waterlogging continue to affect many parts of Teknaf, remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities through locally led humanitarian action and community resilience initiatives.
Together, we can build stronger, safer, and more resilient communities.
