It is with a deeply heavy heart that I share this painful reality—my Rohingya brother, Mohammad Ullah, is among the victims of human trafficking and one of the 250 people still missing. This is not just news. This is a tragedy. Our youth are losing hope. The dream of repatriation feels distant, and in that desperation, even educated and promising individuals are risking everything on dangerous journeys that too often end in silence and sorrow.
But we must remember: there is no place more valuable than our own homeland. Our dignity, our identity, and our future belong there. We must continue to stand strong and strive for a safe and honorable return.
I urge everyone—please do not encourage this path. Do not let desperation push our people into the hands of traffickers. Speak up. Guide them. Protect them.
Do not believe the lies. Do not trust the promises.
Let us choose hope, not risk. Let us choose life, not loss.
