📚 Adult Accelerated Learning (AAL) Project | Women Monitors Training.

On 16 and 17 September 2026, a two-day Monitor Training was successfully completed for selected Women Volunteers under the project “Adaptation and Co-Creation of Adult Accelerated Learning (AAL), Integrating Literacy and Livelihood Skills Development for Rohingya Refugee Youth in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh” at Kutupalong Rohingya Camp 4 and Camp 1 East.

The training focused on strengthening the capacity of Women Monitors in monitoring learning activities, conducting classroom observations, tracking learner participation and progress, and maintaining proper documentation and reporting.

One of the key and innovative components of this initiative is Technology-Assisted Self-Learning.
Rather than relying entirely on teacher-led classroom instruction, the project is introducing a more flexible and learner-centred approach through the use of tablets and specially designed learning apps.

With the support of these digital tools, learners can access learning materials, practise literacy skills, and engage with livelihood-related learning content through the apps. This approach allows learners to continue their learning process more independently, including in situations where a teacher may not be directly present.

At the same time, the trained Women Monitors will observe how learners are engaging with the digital learning process, how they are using the apps, their participation and progress, and will document key observations to support the project team in understanding and improving the learning experience.

💡 By bringing together Technology, Self-Learning and Community-Based Monitoring, the project aims to create a more flexible, accessible and learner-centred learning environment for Rohingya learners.

Through this two-day training, the Women Volunteers have been equipped not only to serve as monitors, but also to provide important community-based learning support by observing and documenting learners’ engagement and progress.

My sincere thanks and appreciation to the Team, and especially to Fariya Apa, for conducting and facilitating the training. Your valuable time, support, and dedicated efforts are truly appreciated and have been very meaningful to us.

, , .

HAP Foundation, Cox's Bazar, with the support of , is pleased to launch a short-term Women’s Empowerment and Livelihood Initiative in the Rohingya camps of Cox’s Bazar.

Through this initiative, has created employment opportunities for nine vulnerable and widowed women, providing them with a chance to earn, learn, develop their skills, and build greater confidence and self-reliance.

At HAP Foundation, we believe that women’s empowerment begins with opportunity. When women have access to meaningful work, skills development, and a supportive environment, they can become more financially independent, confident, and capable of shaping a better future for themselves and their families.

This may be a small initiative, but we believe that every opportunity can create meaningful change. We hope this is only the beginning of creating more opportunities for women in the Rohingya community—helping them move towards greater dignity, independence, and self-reliance.

We encourage more women to come forward, develop their skills, believe in their abilities, and take part in opportunities that can help them build a stronger and more secure future. 💜đŸŒŋ

Our sincere thanks to FoR, our supporters, well-wishers, and everyone who has contributed to making this initiative possible.
Together, we can create more opportunities, empower more women, and build stronger communities.

Alhamdulillah!
Today, 14 July 2026 (Tuesday), distributed emergency food assistance to several flood-affected and vulnerable families in and Unions of , .

We were honored by the presence of Dr. Imran Shaheb, a respected member of HAP Foundation, during the distribution.

The recent floods have severely affected the lives of countless families in these communities. Many have lost their homes, livelihoods, and access to basic necessities. The hardship they are enduring is beyond words.

Through this initiative, we are striving to stand beside those in need within our capacity. We are also grateful to see many compassionate individuals, volunteers, and humanitarian organizations working tirelessly to support flood-affected communities. We firmly believe that by working together, we can reach more families and bring hope to those facing difficult times.
Let us all continue to stand with humanity, extend a helping hand to those in need, and keep the affected families in our prayers.

May Allah (SWT) grant patience, strength, protection, and relief to every affected family, and bless us all with the ability to serve humanity with sincerity and compassion Ameen 🤲.
