𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐭𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐱'𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐅𝐌 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭
On April 29, 2026, Mukti Cox’s Bazar successfully organized a Project Learning Sharing Workshop under the "Empowering Rohingya Entrepreneurs through Skills, Financial Access, and Market Formalization (ERESFM)" project, with the technical support of IOM and funded by FCDO‑RAF. The event brought together project participants, market actors, delegates from NGOs working with the Livelihood and Skills Development Sector (LSDS), government officials, local representatives, IOM, senior officials of Mukti Cox’s Bazar, and the project team.
Syed Lutful Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Executive of Mukti Cox’s Bazar, inaugurated the workshop with an inspiring speech highlighting the organization’s history and ongoing humanitarian initiatives. Pintu William Gomes, Senior Project Associate (DRR), commended Mukti Cox’s Bazar for its dedicated service to both local communities and FDMN, emphasizing the relevance of the RAF project in the current context.
Project Coordinator Mr. Satyki Roy presented key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned, while technical skill trainers and entrepreneurship development trainers shared insights from implementation. Participants and market actors actively exchanged views, acknowledging the training and inputs received.
The program concluded with remarks from Mr. Abul Kalam, Upazila Cooperative Officer of Ukhia, who outlined available government services for project participants and praised the initiative’s impact.
This workshop reflects Mukti Cox’s Bazar’s commitment to fostering sustainable livelihoods, strengthening market linkages, and advancing inclusive development for vulnerable communities.
