TREE PLANTATION TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE — FOR A GREENER FUTURE 🌱

Prottoy Humanitarian Youth Development Organization PHYDO Bangladesh has launched a tree plantation initiative by planting medicinal and fruit-bearing saplings at Marichya, Kathalia Madrasha, and other important locations in Ward No. 1 of Haldia Palong Union, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar.

Implemented under the GEF PFCB Project with the support of Bangladesh Rehabilitation and Development Organization - BRDO , the initiative aims to promote environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, climate action, and community greening.

Since 10 August 2026, PHYDO Bangladesh has been continuing tree plantation activities across schools, madrasas, and other important locations with the active participation of local communities and young people.

🌿 Plant a tree today, protect our climate tomorrow.

সবুজ ভবিষ্যতের প্রত্যয়ে—ফাইডো বাংলাদেশের বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি 🌿

প্রকৃতি ও পরিবেশের সুরক্ষায় ফাইডো বাংলাদেশ পেকুয়া উপজেলা টিমের নিজস্ব অর্থায়নে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।পেকুয়া উপজেলার দুটি মাদ্রাসা প্রাঙ্গণে ফলজ চারা রোপণ করেন পেকুয়া উপজেলা টিম লিডার আব্দুল গফুর এবং তাওহীদ।

🌱 একটি চারা আজকের ছোট্ট উদ্যোগ, কিন্তু আগামী দিনের জন্য হতে পারে একটি সবুজ পৃথিবীর ভিত্তি। পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষা ও ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের জন্য বাসযোগ্য বাংলাদেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে ফাইডো বাংলাদেশ এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

ঔষধি ও ফলজ বৃক্ষরোপণের মাধ্যমে সবুজায়নের উদ্যোগ ফাইডো বাংলাদেশের

হলদিয়া পালং ইউনিয়নের ১নং ওয়ার্ডের মরিচ্যা, কাঁঠালিয়া মাদ্রাসাসহ বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থানে ঔষধি ও ফলজ গাছের চারা রোপণ করেছে প্রত্যয় হিউম্যানিটারিয়ান ইয়ুথ ডেভেলপমেন্ট অর্গানাইজেশন—ফাইডো বাংলাদেশ।
GEF PFCB Project-এর আওতাধীন BRDO-এর সহযোগিতায় পরিচালিত এ বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচির মূল লক্ষ্য হলো পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব মোকাবিলা, জীববৈচিত্র্য রক্ষা এবং স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে সবুজায়নকে উৎসাহিত করা।

গত ১০ আগস্ট থেকে ফাইডো বাংলাদেশ হলদিয়া পালং ইউনিয়নের আওতাধীন বিভিন্ন স্কুল, মাদ্রাসা ও প্রয়োজনীয় স্থানে ধারাবাহিকভাবে বৃক্ষরোপণ কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। কর্মসূচিতে স্থানীয় সচেতন নাগরিক, শিক্ষার্থী ও কিশোর-কিশোরীরা সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করছেন।এই উদ্যোগকে সফলভাবে বাস্তবায়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখছেন ফাইডো বাংলাদেশের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সভাপতি তানজিম হাসান রিফাত। তাঁর নেতৃত্ব, উদ্যোগ ও দিকনির্দেশনায় পরিবেশ সুরক্ষা ও জলবায়ু সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে ফাইডো বাংলাদেশের বৃক্ষরোপণ কার্যক্রম বিভিন্ন এলাকায় সম্প্রসারিত হচ্ছে।পাশাপাশি, ফাইডো বাংলাদেশের নিজস্ব অর্থায়নেও বিভিন্ন উপজেলায় বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি চলমান রয়েছে। ইতোমধ্যে বাঁশখালী উপজেলায় কর্মসূচির একটি ধাপ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। পরিবেশের ভারসাম্য রক্ষা ও সবুজ বাংলাদেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে ভবিষ্যতেও দেশের বিভিন্ন উপজেলায় এ কার্যক্রম অব্যাহত থাকবে।
