🤝 Fostering Strategic Engagement & Partnerships for Local Impact 🤝

We are pleased to share that WAYDO recently participated in an Exposure Meeting under the Local Organisation Engagement Program, organized in collaboration with G-PAD (a consultancy firm engaged by FIVDB).

During this interactive session, an organizational assessment was conducted to evaluate capabilities, strengthen collaboration pathways, and explore strategic opportunities for sustainable community development.
Representing WAYDO was Mr. Jobair Mahmud Jubo (Management Advisor & Coordinator-in-Chief), who highlighted WAYDO’s ongoing initiatives, vision, and organizational achievements.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Shahriyar Islam, representing G-PAD, leading insightful discussions on local capacity strengthening and partnership development.

We express our sincere appreciation to FIVDB and G-PAD for this constructive engagement as we continue to build stronger networks for meaningful social change.

নারী সেবা ও যুব উন্নয়ন সংস্থা (ওয়েইডো)-এর সম্মানিত সভানেত্রী ও প্রধান নির্বাহী জনাবা হাকিমুন্নেছা বাপ্পী'র প্রিয় ও শ্রদ্ধাস্পদ পিতার মৃত্যুতে আমরা গভীর শোক ও দুঃখ প্রকাশ করছি। এই অপূরণীয় পিতৃবিয়োগে শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি আমাদের আন্তরিক সমবেদনা ও সহমর্মিতা রইলো।

আমরা মরহুমের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি এবং মহান আল্লাহর নিকট প্রার্থনা করি যেন তিনি তাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস নসিব করেন। একই সাথে শোকাহত পরিবারকে এই কঠিন সময়ে ধৈর্য ও শক্তি দান করার জন্য প্রার্থনা করছি।

এই শোকের মুহূর্তে নারী সেবা ও যুব উন্নয়ন সংস্থা (ওয়েইডো) পরিবার শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের পাশে রয়েছে।

বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধায় স্মরণ করছি মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সকল বীর শহীদ ও বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের,
যাদের আত্মত্যাগে অর্জিত হয়েছে আমাদের স্বাধীনতা ও সার্বভৌমত্ব।

স্বাধীনতার চেতনায় উদ্বুদ্ধ হয়ে আমরা গড়ে তুলতে চাই একটি মানবিক, ন্যায়ভিত্তিক ও সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ—
যেখানে থাকবে শান্তি, উন্নয়ন ও সকলের সমান অধিকার।

ঈদুল ফিতরের শুভেচ্ছা বার্তা

আসসালামু আলাইকুম ও ঈদ মোবারক!

পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতর আমাদের মাঝে বয়ে আনুক অনাবিল আনন্দ, শান্তি ও সমৃদ্ধি। নারী সেবা ও যুব উন্নয়ন সংস্থা (ওয়েইডোর)-এর পক্ষ থেকে আমি দেশ ও বিদেশের সকল ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে সর্বস্তরের মানুষকে জানাই ঈদের আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা।

ঈদ মানেই আনন্দ, তবে এই আনন্দ তখনই পূর্ণতা পায় যখন আমরা সমাজের এতিম, দরিদ্র ও অসহায় পরিবারসহ সকল পিছিয়ে পড়া জনগোষ্ঠীকে সাথে নিয়ে তা উদযাপন করি। কাউকে পেছনে ফেলে নয়, বরং সবাইকে সাথে নিয়ে এক অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক ভ্রাতৃত্বের সমাজ গড়াই আমাদের লক্ষ্য।

যারা নাড়ির টানে প্রিয়জনদের সাথে ঈদ করতে পথ পাড়ি দিচ্ছেন, আপনাদের প্রতি অনুরোধ—চলাচলে সর্বোচ্চ সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন। আমাদের সবার সচেতনতা যেন কোনো অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত দুর্ঘটনা বা শোকের কারণ না হয়। বিশেষ করে সড়কের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করুন এবং মা-বোনদের নির্বিঘ্নে চলাচলে সহায়তা করুন।

আসুন, এই ঈদে আমরা:

নারী, শিশু, কিশোর-কিশোরী ও বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠদের প্রতি যথাযথ স্নেহ ও সম্মান প্রদর্শন করি।

যেকোনো ধরনের বিশৃঙ্খলা এড়িয়ে চলে সামাজিক সম্প্রীতি বজায় রাখি।

ধর্ম-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে একে অপরের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে ঈদের আনন্দকে ভাগ করে নিই।

নিরাপদ হোক আপনাদের ঈদ যাত্রা, আনন্দময় হোক প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত।

Our Chief Executive Mam is here as the guest participants reflected the International Women's Day 2026 at Long Beach Cox’s Bazar.

🔵 Aligned with the theme . For All Women and Girls,” Plan International Bangladesh, with ECW–MYRP support, convened a dialogue in Cox’s Bazar with women-led and rights organisations, humanitarian actors, and partners.

The discussion focused on women’s leadership in and the need for stronger, sustained investment in women’s empowerment. It highlighted the vital role of local women-led organisations in protection, GBV response, and advancing gender equality across the Rohingya and host communities.

Key calls to action included increased direct funding, greater representation in decision-making, long-term investment in women’s leadership, and stronger cross-sector collaboration. A sincere thank you to all panelists, participants, and partners. The dialogue reaffirmed that women must not only be participants, they must lead.

We are proud to share highlights from a recent high-level dialogue on Promoting National Volunteer Policy & Global Volunteer Standards (GVS), organized by VSO and JYDA in Cox’s Bazar! 🇧🇩

This event brought together key voices to discuss the future of volunteerism and social transformation:

Mr. Moin Uddin Rakib, Director of HEART, emphasized that stronger collaboration among youth-led organizations is the key to solving regional challenges. By working together, we can amplify our impact on climate resilience and community empowerment. 🌍🌱

Ms. Hakimun Nessa, Chief Executive Director of WAYDO, highlighted that building trust and networking are the foundations of success. Mutual support among youth leaders is essential to achieving our shared goals for community development. 🤝✨

By aligning our local passion with global standards, we are creating a more professional, resilient, and unified movement for change.

A big thank you to VSO and JYDA for hosting such a vital session. Let’s continue to work together for a better, more sustainable future!

We are thrilled to share highlights from the International Women's Day 2026 celebration organized by JNUS! 🤝

Our very own Hakimun Nessa Bappy (Honorable Chief Executive of WAYDO) represented the joint vision of WAYDO and HEART in this impactful program. In an exchange with C News, she emphasized that "Justice" is the bridge between rights on paper and rights in practice. ⚖️✨

This year, we stand firm with the theme: "Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls." At HEART and WAYDO, we remain committed to fostering a world where every woman has the agency to lead and the justice to thrive.
