🕯️ 25 August — Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day 🕯️

I am Pakistani, but my heart stands with the Rohingya people.

On this solemn day, I remember the innocent Rohingya men, women, children, and elders who lost their lives, homes, families, and homeland because of persecution and violence.

The suffering of the Rohingya is not only a Rohingya issue—it is a human issue. As a Pakistani, I stand with the Rohingya community in their call for justice, dignity, safety, citizenship, and fundamental human rights.

To every Rohingya brother and sister: you are not forgotten, and your suffering should never be forgotten.

🕯️ We remember the victims.
🕯️ We stand with the survivors.
🕯️ We hope for justice and a peaceful future.

Day 2026 🕯️

Today, we remember the victims of the Rohingya genocide and honor all those who lost their lives, homes, families, and homeland.

Nine years have passed since the mass atrocities of August 2017, yet the pain and memories remain deeply alive in the hearts of the Rohingya people.

We remember those who were killed, those who were forced to flee, and those who continue to live as refugees, longing for safety, dignity, justice, and a peaceful future.

We remember. We mourn. We seek justice. We will never forget.

May the souls of all victims rest in peace. May the Rohingya people one day return to their homeland with safety, dignity, citizenship, and fundamental rights.

We remember. We mourn. We demand justice.
May the world never forget what happened to the Rohingya people. We call for dignity, safety, citizenship, accountability, and a peaceful and sustainable solution for the Rohingya.

Additional Secretary Mr.Mizanur Rahman, Rohingya Relief Repatriation Commissioner(RRRC) Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. Encouraged the 1992 Rohingya refugees living in the Nayapara and Kutupalong Registered Refugee Camps to remain patient and hopeful.
His message was clear: “Be patient. Gradually, you will find a long-term solution, InshaAllah.”
For refugees who have spent three decades in the camps, such words of hope and reassurance are deeply meaningful.
We sincerely hope that a safe, dignified, voluntary, and sustainable long-term solution will be found for the Rohingya people.
May Allah make the future brighter and bring lasting peace, dignity, and a better life for every Rohingya refugee. Ameen.
