Bandarban Operation: 11 BGB Arrests Alleged RSO Commander with Weapons

April 12, 2026 – In Naikhongchhari, Bandarban, the 11 BGB Battalion conducted an operation based on intelligence and arrested an alleged RSO training field commander, Hf Farooq, along with his associate Noor Alom. According to sources, Hf Farooq was leading a group of around 50 members and is accused of involvement in various crimes, attacks, and Yaba smuggling.

During the operation, two pistols and 42 rounds of ammunition were recovered. In preliminary interrogation, the detainees admitted they were transporting the weapons under instructions from an individual named “Ayatullah” in exchange for 20,000 taka.

When the girl tried to record this injustice the CiC himself forcibly snatched the phone from her chest area. Touching a young woman's body while being a high official is direct sexual harassment. We took refuge in Bangladesh after escaping oppression in Myanmar will our women's honor be looted here too? We demand the trial of this corrupt and characterless CiC. We request the Bangladesh Government and Law Enforcement to stop this oppression and protect the honor of our women.
