END CHILD MARRIAGE NOW!
As long as sexual violence, r**e attempts, harassment, and abuse continue to threaten the safety of women and children, the challenge of child marriage will remain difficult to eradicate completely.
Many low-income and financially vulnerable families live with constant fear for the safety of their daughters, especially when both parents must work long hours to support their households. Insecurity, lack of protection, and social pressures often push families toward decisions they believe will safeguard their children, even when those decisions may not be in the child’s best interest.
If we are truly committed to ending child marriage, we must address its root causes. This requires stronger child protection systems, safer communities, quality education, economic support for vulnerable families, strict enforcement of laws against violence and abuse, and greater social awareness.
Every child deserves to grow up in a safe environment, free from fear, with the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a brighter future. Ending child marriage is not only about changing laws—it is about creating a society where families feel secure enough to allow their daughters to thrive.
The time to act is now. Together, we must work toward lasting solutions that ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of every child.
