কোনো তদন্ত নেই, কোনো অভিযোগ নেই, কোনো কারণ দর্শানো হয়নি, তথাপি একতরফাভাবে আমাদের মাননীয় উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. আবু সাদাত মোহাম্মদ সায়েম মহোদয়কে তাঁর পদ থেকে অপসারণ করা হয়েছে, যা ন্যায়বিচার ও স্বচ্ছতার মৌলিক নীতির সুস্পষ্ট লঙ্ঘন বলে আমরা মনে করি। চুয়েটের সমগ্র শিক্ষার্থীসমাজ এই অন্যায্য ও অযৌক্তিক সিদ্ধান্তের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছে এবং দ্ব্যর্থহীন ভাষায় দাবি করছে যে, মাননীয় উপাচার্য মহোদয়কে অবিলম্বে ও শর্তহীনভাবে স্বীয় পদে পুনর্বহাল করতে হবে; এই দাবি আদায় না হওয়া পর্যন্ত চুয়েটের শিক্ষার্থীরা ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে সোচ্চার থাকবে।
