প্লাস্টিক থেকে সম্ভাবনা, সচেতনতা থেকে পরিবর্তন
২৭–২৮ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬, চট্টগ্রাম কলেজ এলাকায় Nobody to Somebody -এর উদ্যোগে পরিচালিত হলো একটি ব্যতিক্রমী প্লাস্টিক সার্কুলারিটি ও পরিবেশ সচেতনতামূলক প্রদর্শনী।
দুই দিনের এই আয়োজনে আমরা শুধু প্লাস্টিক দূষণের সমস্যা তুলে ধরিনি; বরং মানুষকে সমাধানের একটি বাস্তব চিত্র দেখিয়েছি।
প্রদর্শনীতে ছিল একটি তথ্যবহুল দেয়ালিকা, যেখানে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে—প্লাস্টিক বর্জ্য কীভাবে পরিবেশের জন্য সমস্যা তৈরি করে, আমরা কী করতে পারি এবং সঠিক ব্যবস্থাপনার মাধ্যমে কী ধরনের সম্ভাবনা তৈরি হতে পারে।
ছিল “আমরা কেমন পৃথিবী চাই?”—এই ভাবনাকে কেন্দ্র করে একটি অংশগ্রহণমূলক ক্যানভাস। শিক্ষার্থী, পথচারী ও সাধারণ মানুষ সেখানে রং ও আঁকার মাধ্যমে তাদের কাঙ্ক্ষিত পৃথিবীর স্বপ্ন প্রকাশ করেছেন। একটি ক্যানভাস ধীরে ধীরে হয়ে উঠেছে মানুষের আশা, দায়িত্ববোধ ও ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে ভাবনার সম্মিলিত প্রকাশ।
সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ ছিল ফেলে দেওয়া প্লাস্টিক থেকে তৈরি বিভিন্ন পণ্যের প্রদর্শনী। প্লাস্টিকের বোতল ও অন্যান্য পরিত্যক্ত উপকরণ ব্যবহার করে তৈরি ফুলের টবসহ বিভিন্ন সৃজনশীল পণ্যের মাধ্যমে আমরা দেখিয়েছি—
“Don’t just throw it. Collect. Segregate. Clean. Create.”
প্রায় ৭৫০ জন শিক্ষার্থী, পথচারী ও সাধারণ মানুষ এই প্রদর্শনী পরিদর্শন করেছেন। কেউ দেখেছেন, কেউ প্রশ্ন করেছেন, কেউ নতুন কিছু শিখেছেন, আবার কেউ নিজেরাও প্লাস্টিককে নতুনভাবে ব্যবহারের সম্ভাবনা নিয়ে ভেবেছেন।
আমাদের কাছে এই ৭৫০ জন শুধু একটি সংখ্যা নয়। প্রতিটি দর্শনার্থী ছিলেন একটি নতুন বার্তার বাহক। কারণ একটি মানুষ যখন বুঝতে পারেন যে একটি ফেলে দেওয়া প্লাস্টিক বোতলও নতুন কোনো পণ্যের অংশ হতে পারে, তখন সেখান থেকেই আচরণগত পরিবর্তনের একটি ছোট কিন্তু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যাত্রা শুরু হয়।
আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, পরিবেশ সচেতনতা শুধু কথা দিয়ে তৈরি হয় না—মানুষকে বাস্তব উদাহরণ দেখাতে হয়, অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ দিতে হয় এবং সমাধানের সঙ্গে যুক্ত করতে হয়।
এই উদ্যোগটি Nobody to Somebody (N2S)-এর আয়োজনে, Plastics Circularity Project-এর সহযোগিতায়, The Coca-Cola Foundation-এর অর্থায়নে এবং United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়িত; Young Power in Social Action (YPSA)-এর সহায়তায় পরিচালিত হয়েছে।
এই সহযোগিতার প্রতি আমরা আন্তরিকভাবে কৃতজ্ঞ। একসঙ্গে আমরা যে বার্তাটি পৌঁছে দিতে চাই তা খুবই সহজ—
প্লাস্টিক শুধু বর্জ্য নয়। সঠিক ব্যবস্থাপনা, সৃজনশীলতা ও দায়িত্বশীলতার মাধ্যমে প্লাস্টিক হতে পারে সম্ভাবনা। আর সেই সম্ভাবনা থেকেই তৈরি হতে পারে একটি পরিচ্ছন্ন, সবুজ ও টেকসই ভবিষ্যৎ।
From Plastic to Possibility, From Awareness to Action
On 27–28 September 2026, Nobody to Somebody (N2S) organized a unique plastic circularity and environmental awareness exhibition at the Chittagong College Area, turning an everyday public space into a place for learning, participation, and inspiration.
Over these two days, we did more than highlight the problem of plastic pollution—we presented practical possibilities for change.
The exhibition featured an informative wall display explaining the journey from plastic waste to possibility: understanding the problem, exploring what we can do, and discovering how responsible management can create new opportunities.
A participatory “What Kind of World Do We Want?” canvas invited students, pedestrians, and members of the public to express their vision of a better world through colours and drawings. What began as a blank canvas gradually became a collective expression of hope, responsibility, creativity, and aspirations for a healthier future.
A key attraction was our showcase of products created from discarded plastic. From plastic bottles transformed into plant pots to other creative items, the display demonstrated a simple but powerful message:
Don’t just throw it. Collect. Segregate. Clean. Create.
Approximately 750 students, pedestrians, and members of the public visited the exhibition over the two days. Some came to observe, some asked questions, some discovered new possibilities, and many began to look at plastic waste from a different perspective.
For us, 750 is not just a number. Every visitor represents a potential change in mindset—and every changed mindset can influence another person, another family, a classroom, or an entire community.
We believe environmental awareness becomes meaningful when people can see the problem, understand the solution, and experience the possibility for themselves.
This initiative is organized by Nobody to Somebody (N2S) in collaboration with the Plastics Circularity Project, funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh, with the support of Young Power in Social Action (YPSA).

Plastic does not have to end its journey as waste. With responsible collection, creativity, skills, and circular thinking, it can become a possibility. And those possibilities can help us build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
