SoSET Research Day was a moment of immense pride for us, as four of our club members and WELF recipients illuminated the event with their brilliance.
Our Club Executive (Head of HR), Sumaiya Hossain Pushpita, secured 1st Runner-Up in the 3-Minute Thesis Presentation segment. Her project ‘GAN-Based Enhancement of Low-Dose PET-CT Scan’ introduced an innovative AI-driven solution to make cancer diagnosis safer and more affordable by reducing radiation exposure and cost by 15–30%—a highly promising step for Bangladesh’s healthcare sector.
Our Club Convenor, Faiza Akther, achieved 2nd Runner-Up with her project ‘N.A.R.I – Next-gen Autonomous Response Innovation’, a wearable AI-powered safety system that can proactively predict and prevent threats against women with 95% accuracy, empowering them with smarter, faster, and more reliable protection.
Our Sub-Executive Member, Washeka Rahman, showcased her research with confidence and depth in the 3-Minute Thesis Presentation.
And our Sub-Executive Member, Marwa Mohammed, added elegance to the day by hosting the Prize Giving Ceremony with grace and charm.
We are proud of our members’ achievements and look forward to witnessing them and all WELF recipients continue to shine even brighter through their future endeavors.
