And cut! It was a year of impact, a day shaped by liberty and respect for LOLA Chittagong!
So, to rejoice on our one year of impact, we celebrated the journey on 12th December. The celebration honored a year of milestones, international recognition by LOLA International, and the collective strength of voices gathered from Bangladesh and beyond, turning the anniversary into a moment of shared pride and purpose.🩷☀️
But there was a catch to it! Because, Bangladesh Students For Liberty collaborated with us for a profound dialogue on "Human Respect: Giving Ownership Back to People". The workshop stood as a reflection of libertarian ideals in practice where freedom and human dignity exist in harmony. Through conversation and collaboration, it highlighted how human respect serves as a bridge between liberty and society by valuing individual autonomy, protecting boundaries, empowering communities, and choosing persuasion over coercion.
Together, we embodied an equilibrium where respect fuels freedom, and freedom safeguards dignity, with affirming that a just and thriving society begins when people are trusted with ownership of their lives, voices, and choices.
Participants from all over the world included ladies and gentlemen from Bangladesh,India,Nepal,Bhutan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam making the day more diverse, impactful and multi-cultural collaboration of libertarian thoughts. The speaker, Takveer Miazi denoted on the importance of happiness and harmony on the aspect of Human Respect while the chapter lead, Effat Jahan Efa highlighted the journey of Lola Chittagong throughout the year. Our co-leaders Farhana Sultana Ananna, Arshi Irtiza and Nahida Amiri delivered their retrospect views during these sessions as well 💖
