The first Bengali rock band Moheener Ghoraguli, Formed in Kolkata, India in 1975, they pioneered the "Bangla rock" movement by blending Western rock and jazz with traditional Bengali folk music (Baul) and poetry. This was a beginning of the new era. The legacy is continued by Warfaze, Artcell, Aurthohin, LRB.
