The formal activities of UCTC Health & Blood Bank commenced on September 6, 2024. The university registrar officially approved it on November 9, 2024. UCTC Health & Blood Bank was founded by UCTC students. UCTC Health & Blood Bank operates across variou

s regions of the country, with its initiatives progressing at an impressive pace. Let us all work together, united, to support UCTC Health & Blood Bank in building a brighter future for our nation. The UCTC Health & Blood Bank aims to:

1) Provide Immediate Medical Assistance: Offer first aid and basic medical services to students, faculty, and staff.
2) Promote Health Awareness: Organize regular health check-ups, awareness programs, and health-related workshops.
3) Facilitate Blood Donations: Create a reliable database of voluntary blood donors and organize regular blood donation drives. Objectives:

* To ensure the health and well-being of the UCTC community.

* To foster a spirit of community service and social responsibility among students.

* To provide a platform for students to contribute to society in meaningful ways. Implementation Plan:

1) Setup: Allocate a designated space within the campus for the Health & Blood Bank.
2) Staffing: Recruit volunteers and healthcare professionals to manage the facility.
3) Equipment: Procure necessary medical equipment and supplies.
4) Partnerships: Collaborate with local hospitals and health organizations for support and resources. We are confident that with your support, we can successfully establish the UCTC Health & Blood Bank, thereby enhancing the health services available to our university community.
