On this World Day Against Child Labour, we stand in solidarity with the millions of children who are still deprived of their right to education, safety, and a carefree childhood.

Child labour is more than a social issue. It limits a child's dreams, potential, and future opportunities. Building a just and equitable society requires ensuring that every child has access to education, protection, and the chance to thrive.

Let us work together to create a world where every child carries a book, not the burden of labour.

ত্যাগ, সহমর্মিতা ও মানবতার মহান শিক্ষা নিয়ে আমাদের মাঝে এসেছে পবিত্র ঈদ-উল-আযহা। 🌙

এই ঈদ আমাদের শেখায় শুধু আনন্দ ভাগাভাগি নয়, বরং অন্যের প্রতি দায়িত্ববোধ, ভালোবাসা এবং আত্মত্যাগের মানসিকতাই একজন মানুষকে সত্যিকারের সুন্দর করে তোলে।

রাইজ আপ পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে সবাইকে জানাই পবিত্র ঈদ-উল-আযহার আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও ঈদ মোবারক।

আজকের শিশুদের হাত ধরেই গড়ে উঠবে আগামী দিনের সুন্দর ও টেকসই পৃথিবী।

জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বর্তমান বিশ্বের অন্যতম বড়ো চ্যালেঞ্জ, যার প্রভাব শিশুদের জীবন, স্বাস্থ্য ও ভবিষ্যতের উপরও গভীরভাবে পড়ছে। তাই ছোটোবেলা থেকেই শিশুদের মাঝে পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু বিষয়ে সচেতনতা তৈরি করা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

এই লক্ষ্যকে সামনে রেখে রাইজ আপ আয়োজন করেছে ৫৪ তম Children’s Climate Literacy Campaign (CCLC)। এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে শিশুদের মাঝে পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু বিষয়ে সচেতনতা তৈরির পাশাপাশি দায়িত্বশীল ও পরিবেশবান্ধব নাগরিক হিসেবে গড়ে উঠতে উৎসাহিত করা হচ্ছে।

এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় গত ২১ মে চট্টগ্রামের পোস্তার পাড় সরকারি বালক প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় Children’s Climate Literacy Campaign, যেখানে ৫০ জন শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করে।

পুরো সেশনে শিশুদের জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব, পরিবেশ রক্ষার গুরুত্ব এবং দৈনন্দিন জীবনে পরিবেশবান্ধব অভ্যাস গড়ে তোলার বিষয়ে সচেতন করা হয়।

শিক্ষার্থীদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ, উৎসাহ এবং পরিবেশ সম্পর্কে জানার আগ্রহ আমাদের এই উদ্যোগকে আরও এগিয়ে নিতে অনুপ্রাণিত করেছে।
আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, আগামীর টেকসই পৃথিবী গড়ার লক্ষ্যে আজকের সচেতন শিশুরাই হবে আগামী দিনের সুন্দর পৃথিবীর নির্মাতা।

আজ রাইজ আপ টিমের পক্ষ থেকে চট্টগ্রাম প্রেস ক্লাব-এর সামনে সাম্প্রতিক রামিসা ধর্ষণ ঘটনার বিচার দাবি ও নারীর নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করার আহ্বানে মানববন্ধন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

আমরা স্পষ্টভাবে বলতে চাই নীরবতা কখনো সমাধান না।
প্রতিটি নারী ও শিশুর নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করা রাষ্ট্র, সমাজ এবং আমাদের সকলের দায়িত্ব।

এই মানববন্ধনের মাধ্যমে আমরা শুধু একটি ঘটনার বিচার নয়, বরং সচেতনতা, নিরাপদ সমাজ এবং নারী নির্যাতনের বিরুদ্ধে সম্মিলিত প্রতিরোধের বার্তা পৌঁছে দিতে চেয়েছি।

মা — শুধুই একটি শব্দ নয়, বরং ভালোবাসা, ত্যাগ, নিরাপত্তা এবং নিঃস্বার্থ শক্তির সবচেয়ে সুন্দর প্রতিচ্ছবি।

একজন মা নীরবে প্রতিদিন নিজের স্বপ্ন, সময় আর ক্লান্তিকে আড়াল করে সন্তানের ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ে তোলেন। তাঁর ভালোবাসাই আমাদের জীবনের প্রথম আশ্রয়, প্রথম সাহস।

এই মা দিবসে রাইজ আপ জানায় পৃথিবীর সকল মায়ের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসা।

গ্লোবাল ক্লাইমেট স্ট্রাইক ২০২৬

৮ মে চট্টগ্রামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে গ্লোবাল ক্লাইমেট স্ট্রাইক ২০২৬, যেখানে জলবায়ু ন্যায্যতা ও টেকসই ভবিষ্যতের দাবিতে একত্রিত হয়েছিল বিভিন্ন তরুণ, স্বেচ্ছাসেবী এবং সচেতন মানুষ।

প্রতি বছরের মতো এবারও রাইজ আপ এই আয়োজনে সক্রিয়ভাবে যুক্ত ছিল। শুধু অংশগ্রহণই নয়, পুরো কার্যক্রমে সমন্বয়মূলক ভূমিকা রাখার পাশাপাশি সর্বোচ্চ সংখ্যক পার্টিসিপেন্ট নিয়ে উপস্থিত থেকেছে রাইজ আপ।

দিনজুড়ে ছিল সচেতনতার বার্তা, সংহতির প্রকাশ এবং ভবিষ্যৎ পৃথিবীকে আরও নিরাপদ করার প্রত্যয়। বিভিন্ন মানুষের সাথে পরিচয়, মতবিনিময় এবং একসাথে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকার অভিজ্ঞতা পুরো আয়োজনটিকে আরও অর্থবহ করে তুলেছে।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, পরিবর্তন একদিনে আসে না কিন্তু সচেতন মানুষদের ছোট ছোট পদক্ষেপই একসময় বড় আন্দোলনে রূপ নেয়। আর সেই পরিবর্তনের পথেই আমরা একসাথে এগিয়ে যেতে চাই।

Labour is the foundation of every society, and the dedication of workers drives progress and development. On this day, we honor and appreciate the relentless efforts of all workers whose contributions shape our everyday lives.

Ensuring dignity, fair rights, and respect for every worker is a shared responsibility. Building a just and equitable society is not possible without acknowledging and valuing their role.

There is no substitute for hard work.

Let us continue to respect labour and work together towards a more humane and inclusive future.

World Earth Day | 22 April 2026

On the occasion of World Earth Day, Rise Up – Chattogram Team took a meaningful step towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Our Children’s Climate Literacy Session was successfully conducted at New Tigerpass Government Primary School, where we engaged young students in understanding climate change, environmental responsibility, and sustainable living. The session was complemented by a tree plantation activity, symbolizing growth, awareness, and long-term impact.

We strongly believe that empowering young minds with knowledge and values is the foundation of a climate-conscious and responsible generation.

Small actions today can shape a sustainable tomorrow. Let’s continue working together for a safer, greener planet.
