Connecting Beyond Borders 🇧🇩🤝🇱🇰

It started with a simple document, signed hundreds of miles apart. But what took place on paper was always meant to happen in spirit.

The Rotaract Club of Chittagong Karnaphuli (RID 65, Bangladesh) officially completed a Letterhead Exchange with the Rotaract Club of Cinnamon Gardens(RID 3220, Sri Lanka).

Across the Bay of Bengal, two clubs with a shared drive for impact found common ground. This exchange marks more than an official formality- it’s the start of a quiet promise between young leaders to bridge cultures, share perspectives, and build initiatives that stretch far beyond local borders.

A club grows when its members understand not just what to do, but why they do it.

Our Joint Club Assembly, organized by the Rotaract Club of Chittagong Karnaphuli and Rotaract Club of Chittagong Heritage, was a learning session focused on roles, responsibilities, opportunities, and how each member can contribute meaningfully to the club.

From understanding our responsibilities to exploring the scope of Rotaract beyond the club, the session was all about learning, sharing, and preparing ourselves to work better together.
A sincere thank you to our speakers for sharing their knowledge and experience, and to all the Rotaractors, non-Rotaractors, and students who joined us and made the session meaningful.

And special thanks to the Rotaract Club of Chittagong Heritage for joining hands with us to make this joint initiative possible.

Every Rotaract year starts with plans.

But plans become impact when people come together, understand their roles, share ideas, and move forward with a common purpose.

This time, Rotaract Club of Chittagong Karnaphuli and Rotaract Club of Chittagong Heritage are bringing their members together for something more than an assembly.

It is a space to meet the people behind the clubs, discover their role, understand their opportunities, exchange ideas, and build connections that can last beyond this Rotaract year.

Some contributions make noise; others quietly move the whole team forward.

This month, we celebrate Rtr. Sirajes Salekine Siraj, our Rotaractor of the Month (August), and Rtr. ZA Yed & Rtr. Zahedul Hasan Siam, our Emerging Rotaractor of the Month (August). Their recognition reflects the consistency, initiative, and spirit they bring to the club.

And behind every individual moment worth celebrating is a team that shows up, shares the load, and keeps the momentum alive. This one belongs to Karnaphuli, together.
