Day Observations :International Youth Day

The Inner Wheel Club of Green Hills Chittagong, District 345, organized a Friendly Football Tournament on the occasion of International Youth Day, bringing together young players in the spirit of friendship, unity, and peace under the theme :
"Different Context, Common Aspirations"

The prestigious programme was graced by PDC Ms. Boishakhi Mendes, District Secretary Ms. Asma Newaz Khan, along with respected Club Presidents and members of other Inner Wheel Clubs of Chittagong.
Club President Ms. Fatema Johra inaugurated the programme with an inspiring welcome speech, setting the tone for a day filled with enthusiasm and meaningful messages.
Executive Member Ms. Mona Masud was the key speaker of the occasion. She delivered a brief yet motivational speech, encouraging the young players to recognize their potential and become responsible leaders of tomorrow.
The highlight of the event was an energetic and friendly football match where young boys and girls participated with great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship. ⚽👏

🌱 Youth & Environment, Planting Seeds for a Greener Tomorrow :
Adding a meaningful environmental dimension to the celebration, following the tournament plants and saplings were presented to the young players, encouraging them to nurture and protect nature. The gesture carried a powerful message—that today’s youth are the custodians of tomorrow’s world, and that caring for our environment is a responsibility we all share.
As a heartfelt gesture of friendship, goodwill, and togetherness, President Fatema Johra also presented plants to the distinguished dignitaries and Club Presidents. The plants symbolized growth, friendship, unity, and the hope of nurturing a better tomorrow together. 🌿🤝
The presence of the members of IWC of Green Hills Chittagong and their children added warmth and joy to the occasion, as they enthusiastically cheered for and encouraged the young players.
It was truly a memorable celebration of Youth, Sports, Friendship, and Environmental Responsibility—inspiring our young generation to lead with courage, care for our planet, and build a peaceful future.

2nd EC & General Meeting

Venue: Club Treasurer Kainath Azmi Resident.

The 2nd Executive Committee (EC) and General Meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Green Hills, Chittagong District 345, was held in a warm and productive atmosphere.

Our dedicated officers presented their reports for the past month, while the President Fatema Johra engaged fellow members in an inspiring discussion about the upcoming projects and initiatives of the Club.

It was truly a fruitful meeting filled with meaningful discussions, ideas, and fellowship. The evening ended on a joyful note with cake cutting to celebrate all the August Birthday Girls and August Wedding Anniversaries 🎂 and delicious dinner.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our district's remarkable journey, strengthen the bonds of friendship, and connect with fellow members dedicated to service and fellowship.

The celebration was made even more special as we cut a cake and exchanged friendship bands, symbolizing the beautiful bond we share. It was a day filled with laughter, warmth, joy, and unforgettable memories.

The IWC of Green Hills Chittagong District 345 successfully completed the second phase of its flood relief project by restoring 3 sanitation facilities for families and people affected by the devastating floods.

We repaired 3 severely damaged toilets in different areas of Banshkhali, helping improve hygiene and living conditions for those in need. In addition, we distributed essential dry food supplies, including rice, lentils (daal), cooking oil, potatoes, and onions, (30 bags) to affected families.

Areas we covered: 1.Ilsha Bashkhali, 2.South kokdondi, 3.Baguyan para , Bashkhali

We sincerely thank once again all the clubs that joined hands with us and supported this meaningful project. Your generosity, cooperation, and commitment made it possible to bring hope and relief to the flood-affected communities.

Venue: Mohammadia Hafezia Madrasa & Etimkhana, Halishohor, Chattogram .
Beneficiaries: 70 children.

Our second project for the Inner Wheel year 2026–27 was successfully carried out by IWC of Green Hills Chittagong, District 345 at Mohammadia Hafezia Madrasa & Etimkhana, Halishohor, Chattogram.

We sincerely thank Spiber Med, a medical equipment supplier, for supporting our project with their valuable assistance..

With love and care, we shared lunch and dinner with the children and donated 4 ceiling fans, along with essential groceries including rice, dal, cooking oil, potatoes, and onions.

Supporting this Etimkhana has become a cherished tradition for our club. Every year, we try to contribute according to their most pressing needs.

Our President, Secretary, and fellow club members were present to participate in this heartfelt service project.

The smiles on the children's faces remind us that compassion is the greatest gift of all. Their happiness fills our hearts with peace and inspires us to continue serving our community.

MEGA JOINT PROJECT– Emergency Relief for Flood Victims.

Beneficiaries: 200 families.

The Emergency Relief for Flood Victims project was initiated by Inner Wheel Club of Green Hills Chittagong, District 345 and carried out as a joint initiative with many clubs across District 345.

We are deeply grateful to every club that extended a helping hand and supported this humanitarian mission. Your generosity, compassion, and commitment made this project possible.

To honor the trust and support of all participating clubs, we reached some of the most remote flood-affected areas where families have suffered immensely and continue to face hardship. Our aim was to ensure that relief reached to those who needed it most.

Bajalia Union of Kaliash and Dohajari.

Our President, Secretary, and dedicated members of IWC Green Hills Chittagong participated wholeheartedly throughout this initiative, serving with care, unity, and compassion.

A heartfelt thank you to every club, volunteer, and supporter for standing with us. Together, we brought hope where it was needed most.
