বাঙালির প্রাণের উৎসব পহেলা বৈশাখ। নতুন বছরের এই শুভ লগ্নে MIST Student Branch AIAA-এর পক্ষ থেকে আপনাদের সবাইকে জানাই আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন। নতুন বছর আমাদের সবার জীবনে নিয়ে আসুক অনাবিল আনন্দ, সমৃদ্ধি আর নতুন নতুন উদ্ভাবনের প্রেরণা।
পুরানো গ্লানি মুছে ফেলে আমরা যেন একযোগে এগিয়ে যেতে পারি এক উজ্জ্বল ও সফল ভবিষ্যতের দিকে। আপনাদের সবার বছরটি কাটুক দারুণ উচ্ছ্বাসে!

MIST DBF Team, a fully student led team, continues to keep its promises.

Ranked 17th worldwide and top in Asia in the Design Report segment, this achievement reflects the dedication, passion, and hard work of the entire team.

Special thanks to our faculty advisors, Lec Saif Reza, Lec Ridwan Hasan, and Lec Nahida Islam, for their guidance and support. Huge appreciation to all the members who poured their heart and soul into this design report. Proud of what we've accomplished together, and this is just the beginning. 🚀

Today, the MIST AIAA Student Branch officially concluded its Logo Design Competition with a formal award presentation. Zarah Zahin, a Level-1 student in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, emerged as the winner of the contest. Her design was selected as the finest among all submissions due to its exceptional quality and meticulous adherence to the official AIAA brand guidelines and regulations.

In recognition of her outstanding work, the prize money and a certificate of achievement were formally presented to her by the branch's Faculty Advisor, Assistant Professor Nazifa Tasnim, alongside the Branch Chair, Al-Amin Sharkar. We extend our sincere congratulations to her on this impressive accomplishment.

Here are some glimpses from Episode 2 of our webinar series, “From Challenges to Triumph: Stories of Women Leaders.”

We were honored to host over 60 participants from 6 institutes across Bangladesh, bringing our total participation to 100+ attendees across both episodes. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for your presence, engagement, and support.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Zinia Haque Dinky for her invaluable time, for delivering such an insightful and heartfelt session, patiently addressing all questions, and for her willingness to continue supporting us as a professional community.
This series has been a meaningful journey of learning, inspiration, and growth. We look forward to organizing more impactful sessions like this in the future.

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics MIST Student Branch proudly presents the second episode of our special webinar series highlighting inspiring journeys of women leaders in aerospace and beyond.

This episode features Zinia Haque Dinky , Deputy System Manager for Flight Crew Systems at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, working on astronaut systems for the International Space Station and the Orion program.
