Public Hearing on Women's Rights | Madhabpasha

A meaningful Public Hearing on Women's Rights was held at Madhabpasha, bringing together community leaders, local government representatives, and stakeholders to strengthen accountability and promote gender equality.

**Chair:** Ms. Samia Ali Anna, Executive Director, Chandradip Development Society (CDS)

The event provided a platform for women to voice their concerns, share experiences, and engage with duty bearers in advancing justice, inclusion, and equal rights for all.

আজ মেহেন্দিগঞ্জ উপজেলায় সিডিএস কতৃর্ক বাস্তবায়িত সক্ষমতা প্রকল্পের কিশোর কিশোরী দলের সদস্যদের নিয়ে দুর্যোগ ঝুঁকি হ্রাস,জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন অভিযোজন ও জরুরী সাড়া প্রদান বিষয়ক প্রশিক্ষনের আয়োজন করা হয় .এ ধরনের প্রশিক্ষণের আয়োজনের ফলে স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে তরুন ,তরুণীদের মধ্যে দুর্যোগ প্রতিরোধ ও জরুরী সাড়া প্রদানে তারা সক্ষমতা গড়ে তুলতে পারবে

আজ মেহেন্দিগঞ্জ উপজেলায় উওর উলানিয়া ইউনিয়নের পূর্বষাট্রি সরকারী প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষক বৃন্দ ও সুশিল সমাজের প্রতিনিধিদের উপস্থিতিতে সিডিএস কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়িত সক্ষমতা প্রকল্পের দলীয় সদস্যদের মাঝে জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের বিরুপ প্রভাব মোকাবেলায় এবং সবুজায়ন বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে বৃক্ষ রোপন কর্মসূচী শুরু হয় এই কর্মসূচীর অংশ হিসাবে প্রকল্পের উপকারভোগী সদস্যদের মাঝে বিভিন্ন প্রজাতীর ফলজ গাছের চারা বিতরন করা হয় .এ ধরনের কর্মসূচীতে এমন পরিবেশ বান্ধব কার্যক্রম সমাজে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করবে এবং সবুজ মেহেন্দিগঞ্জ গড়ে তুলতে পরিবেশ ভারসাম্য রক্ষায় ভূমিকা রাখবে

দুর্যোগ ঝুঁকি হ্রাস, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন অভিযোজন ও জলবায়ু ন্যায়তা বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রচারাভিযান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
“সক্ষমতা প্রকল্প”-এর আওতায় শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব, দুর্যোগ মোকাবিলা এবং পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা হয়। তরুণ প্রজন্মকে জলবায়ু সহনশীল সমাজ গঠনে সম্পৃক্ত করার এই উদ্যোগ ভবিষ্যতের জন্য একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ।
এই কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়নে সহযোগিতা করেছে SAKO Foundation এবং Wilde Ganzen Foundation, Netherlands।
