🏭 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗸 🧱

As part of our ongoing research journey, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗸 visited a 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 in Barishal to better understand the conventional methods of brick production and their environmental implications. 🌍

We observed the 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀, while also taking note of the 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 caused by traditional kiln practices.

To compare strength and durability, we conducted some basic field tests like:

This visit gave us deeper insight into the 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 and reinforced the need for 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 like our very own 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 under the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

We're thrilled to share that our project, under the banner of 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐤, once again stood out as 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 and this time at Carbon Fest - 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, held on May 23, 2025, at the 𝐂𝐂𝐃𝐁 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫. 🏆⁣

This national-level event, organized by 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 in collaboration with International Centre for Climate Change & Development (ICCCAD), EnvoLead Ltd., and AgroTrends, brought together innovators from across the country to tackle climate change through sustainable, low-carbon solutions.⁣
