Today at Palashpur Colony, Barisal, KaathPencil & Team Emergency Response organized a human chain and protest assembly demanding exemplary justice and strict legal action against the organized r**e and murder of children and women across Bangladesh.

We gathered today because -
▪️ R**e cases are increasing at an alarming rate
▪️ Child killing is going unpunished
▪️ Justice is being delayed or denied
▪️ Our judiciary system desperately needs reform

Our Demands:
1. Establish a separate "Child Protection Directorate" under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
2. Speed up child-friendly investigation and judicial processes.
3. Provide free psychological support to survivors and their families.
4. Ensure Child Protection Policy is formed and implemented in all schools, madrasas, and educational institutions.

Loud and Clear: Empowering Youth Voices 2.0 Project
Preparatory Meeting on Boot Camp with CSO Youth
Co-funded by the European Union and supported by German Cooperation, DW Akademie, and Wave Foundation.
The Team Emergency Response successfully participated in this important preparatory meeting. The session focused on engaging CSO youth, strengthening their voices, and preparing for the upcoming boot camp activities.
We are proud to be part of this initiative that empowers young people to take active roles in community development and decision-making.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 বয়ঃসন্ধিকালে সন্তানকে সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করার ৫টি মূল কৌশল! 🚀
​সন্তানের #বয়ঃসন্ধিকাল প্রতিটি অভিভাবকের জন্য এক নতুন চ্যালেঞ্জ নিয়ে আসে। এই সময়ে হরমোনের পরিবর্তন, আবেগপ্রবণতা এবং নিজস্ব পরিচিতি গড়ার তাগিদ আপনার সন্তানের আচরণে ব্যাপক পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে। কিন্তু সঠিক সমর্থন ও কৌশল অবলম্বন করলে, আপনি তাদের এই যাত্রায় সবচেয়ে বড় সহায়ক হতে পারেন।
​এখানে ৫টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় তুলে ধরা হলো যা আপনার সন্তানের সাথে সুসম্পর্ক বজায় রাখতে এবং তাদের আত্মবিশ্বাস বাড়াতে সাহায্য করবে:

​১. বন্ধুত্বের হাত বাড়ান, বিচারক হবেন না (Be a Friend, Not a Judge):
​আপনার সন্তানের সঙ্গে এমন একটি সম্পর্ক তৈরি করুন যেখানে তারা আপনাকে কিছু গোপন না করে সব কিছু বলতে পারে।
​তাদের ভুল-ত্রুটি বা অযৌক্তিক আবদারকে সরাসরি প্রত্যাখ্যান না করে, আগে মনোযোগ দিয়ে শুনুন এবং শান্তভাবে তাদের ধারণা বা ভুলের কারণ ব্যাখ্যা করুন।

​২. ব্যক্তিগত পরিসরকে সম্মান দিন (Respect Personal Space):
​এই বয়সে তারা স্বাধীনতা এবং ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা (Privacy) চায়। তাদের নিজস্ব জগৎ ও মতামতকে সম্মান জানান।
​তবে অবশ্যই তাদের গতিবিধি ও নিরাপত্তার বিষয়ে একটি স্বাস্থ্যকর নজরদারি বজায় রাখুন।

​৩. খোলামেলা আলোচনা করুন (Open Communication):
​যৌন স্বাস্থ্য (Sexual Health), মাদকাসক্তি এবং অপসংস্কৃতি নিয়ে খোলামেলা ও স্বচ্ছ আলোচনা করুন।
​তাদের মনে কোনো প্রশ্ন বা ভয় থাকলে, ধৈর্য ধরে সেগুলোর উত্তর দিন এবং ভুল ধারণা দূর করতে সাহায্য করুন।

​৪. পারিবারিক মূল্যবোধ ও আদর্শ (Family Values and Ethics):
​পরিবারে একটি গণতান্ত্রিক পরিবেশ গড়ে তুলুন। ছোট ছোট বিষয়ে তাদের মতামতকে গুরুত্ব দিন।
​অন্যের সঙ্গে তুলনা করা বন্ধ করুন। এতে তাদের আত্মমর্যাদা বাড়ে এবং পারিবারিক বন্ধন দৃঢ় হয়।

​৫. গুণগত সময় কাটান (Spend Quality Time):
​ব্যস্ততা সত্ত্বেও প্রতিদিন অন্তত কিছুটা সময় সন্তানের সাথে কাটান। এই সময়টা যেন শুধু তাদের কথা শোনার এবং তাদের পছন্দের কাজে যুক্ত থাকার হয়।
​এটি মানসিক দূরত্ব কমাতে এবং তাদের মধ্যে আত্মবিশ্বাস বাড়াতে সাহায্য করে।
​বয়ঃসন্ধি (Adolescence) একটি সংবেদনশীল পর্যায়। আপনার ভালোবাসা, সহনশীলতা এবং সঠিক দিকনির্দেশনা আপনার সন্তানকে একজন দায়িত্বশীল ও সফল মানুষ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে অপরিহার্য।

🌍 Team Emergency Response (TER) Joins Quarterly Coordination Meeting

We had the opportunity to join the Quarterly Coordination and Networking Meeting among NGOs, CBOs, and Local Government Institutions as a CBO Representative under the PARAYAN Project – Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF).

The meeting, organized by Aparajeyo Bangladesh and Chandradip Development Society (CDS), Barishal, created a great platform to strengthen collaboration, enhance civic engagement, and promote inclusive community resilience.

It was inspiring to connect with diverse organizations working for community empowerment, accountability, and sustainable development.
