Bangladesh Protibandhi Unnayan Sangstha (BPUS) is a Registered, Nonprofit, Non-political, and Non-governmental local development organization of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). It was established at Agailjhara in the District of Barisal in 1991 with the initiatives of Mr. Badiul Alam, a visually impaired person with a view to alleviating the sorrows and sufferings of the disabled people of the c

ommunities as well as to lead them towards their socio-economic development. The most of the working areas of BPUS are poor communicated low lying rural remote areas of Barisal district and the disabled people of the areas concerned are undeveloped in all aspects being deprived of all types of modern facilities.
