At 5:20 AM, a team from the Bangladesh Marma Students Council-BMSC, Rangamati branch, set out by boat toward Baghaichari Upazila to deliver relief to the severely flood-affected people. They worked tirelessly until 2 AM to prepare and load the food packages. It will take them 4-5 hours to reach their destination.

As far as we know, over 5,000 families in Baghaichari are in desperate need of immediate food support. Despite the severity of the damage and the dire conditions, no volunteer or support team has yet reached them due to the remoteness and distance of the location. However, with the funds we’ve received, we will only be able to support 290 families. This reality is heartbreaking for us and especially for the team on the ground.

The Azimur Rokia Rahman Trust and CRDC: Community Resource Development Center are deeply grateful to every person who has generously contributed to our relief efforts. Please know that we (in collaboration with multiple volunteering teams) are doing everything we can to provide the flood victims with essential food and supplies that are urgently needed.

Our friends and volunteer teams are ready to work. Please help us support the remaining families in Baghaichari.
