IEEE AESS BRACU Student Branch Chapter successfully hosted a webinar titled “𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬” on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as a part of 𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝟐.𝟎

The session featured by 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐟𝐢, space System Engineer and Pioneer of BRACU Onnesha, who provided participants with a rare, practical look into how real satellite projects are actually built and managed.

From breaking down satellite subsystems to explaining how different components work together as a complete system, the session went beyond theory and into real engineering practice. A key highlight was the discussion on real-world constraints, where limitations in resources, design, and environment shape engineering decisions. The speaker also shared guidance on how students can start building relevant skills and explore opportunities in the aerospace field. Participants gained valuable insights into the journey from initial concept to system design, along with the technical and operational challenges engineers face along the way.

The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where participants interacted directly with the speaker and explored topics ranging from satellite systems to career pathways in space engineering.
