A huge thank you to everyone who showed interest, applied, and pushed themselves to take the next step. Your motivation and drive are what make this journey so exciting.

The Young Entrepreneurs & Start-up Founders Acceleration Training will be held within the framework of the World Youth Development Forum (WYDF), bringing together outstanding young entrepreneurs from Europe, Asia, and Africa — regions historically connected by the Silk Road.

👥 Who can apply

We are selecting 25 outstanding young entrepreneurs and start-up founders who:

• Are 18–35 years old
• Speak English fluently
• Lead an organization or enterprise
• Run an active, scalable program with measurable impact
• Contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

📍 When & Where

📅 Acceleration Training: June 11–14, 2026 — Shanghai, China
🌏 World Youth Development Forum: June 15–17, 2026 — Wuhan, China

🔎 Thematic areas include

Innovation • AI • Green Development • E-Commerce • Lifelong Learning
Youth Communities • Health & Well-being • Poverty Reduction

Participants will join 200 youth leaders worldwide, receive mentorship, international visibility, and the chance to be selected as an APGYD Excellence Action 2026.
All expenses (travel, accommodation and meal) will be covered by Great Silk Way International Youth Union and our Chinese partner - All China Youth Federation.

The International Day of Nowruz occurs on 21st March, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere. Nowruz celebrations include a variety of rituals, ceremonies, traditional games, special dishes, performances and other cultural events.
Nowruz was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009. The countries who have jointly inscribed Nowruz are : Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.

The president of GSW IYU attended the Summer Academy on the OSCE in Stadtschlaining celebrated its 25th edition!

For 25 years, it has trained diplomats and practitioners, fostered debate on European security, and built a unique network of alumni. Marking this milestone in the year of the OSCE’s 50th Anniversary was meaningful.

🇬🇧The Silk Road Young Entrepreneurs Forum successfully took place in Suzhou, China, bringing together talented and ambitious young people from 35 countries situated along the historical Silk Road. The forum served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, business networking, and cross-cultural collaboration among young entrepreneurs committed to shaping a more connected and innovative future.

The World Youth Development Forum has officially kicked off in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, under the inspiring slogan: “Unleashing the Potential of Youth for Global Development.”

Organized by the China Youth Federation and the Jiangsu Provincial Government, with support from the United Nations, the forum brings together representatives, officials, and young leaders from over 100 countries and international organizations.

At the opening ceremony, key speakers — Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Jiangsu Province; A D**g, First Secretary of the Communist Youth League of China; Nadia Rashid, Chair of the UN Group on Youth Issues; and Felipe Paullier, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs — highlighted the forum’s role in promoting the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and advancing the Global Development Initiative through youth engagement.

The forum stands as a global platform for dialogue, partnership, and action, empowering young people to contribute to more inclusive and sustainable development worldwide.
