Western Vic JOTA JOTI Scouts travel from all parts of Western Victoria to join in on this great weekend which is largely considered to be a social weekend.

JOTA JOTI is an annual event which sees Scouts and Guides worldwide make contact using Amateur Radio and the Internet.

The Western Vic JOTA/JOTI weekend is held at the Cooinda Burrong Scout Camp, right in the heart of the Grampians, annually on the third full weekend in October. Not only are Scouts linking up with Scouts in other parts of the world, it is also a great oportunity to meet those Scouts who live 200km down the road! Run primarily by Scouts, Venturers and Rovers, this camp has a lively atmosphere, focuses largely on the use of technology and is aimed at getting the Scouts involved. With an ever growing team of Scout Amateur Radio Operators, the ideas and activities we can now put into place is getting exciting.
