We are wanting to notify the community that tomorrow afternoon on Tuesday the 2nd of June, Yetholme RFS will be conducting a training drill on a private property on Eusdale Road. Our crews will be in attendance and there is no need to be alarmed.

This National Volunteer Week, we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to every single member of the Yetholme Brigade who gives their time, their energy and their heart to protecting and serving our community in one way or another.

To our crews who answer the call- thank you for leaving your warm homes, family dinners and sleep behind whenever the pager may sound.

And to the families standing quietly behind our volunteers, thank you- for the waiting, the constant worrying and the sacrifices you make every day so our brigade can continue to serve others when they are in times of need.

Thank you for everything you all do to keep us safe while putting yourselves on the front line.

Not just this week, but every single day. ❤️

This Mother’s Day we would like to thank the incredible Mothers and Wives who support our brigade members- through the late nights, long days and every callout in between.

A massive thank you as well to the amazing women within the Yetholme RFS, for your service to our community and for the important roles they carry out each and every day.

Without their strength, support and sacrifices the job simply could not be done. We see you and we appreciate you.
