Members of our brigade attended the handover ceremony for the RFSQ Central Region Tanker - Central 75.

This appliance is an amazing resource for our brigade and those around us. It will be housed at Bungundarra and be tasked anywhere it’s needed in CQ - we selfishly hope it stays at home!

This beast has a 12,000L water capacity and will be vital for supporting our firefighters this season and many to come 🔥🔥🔥

🔥FIRECALL🔥

Mid afternoon, Adelaide Park RFB were responded to a grass fire caused by down power lines on the corner of Neil’s and Limestone creek road. Multiple urban and rural appliances worked for several hours to contain the fire.

Ergon and multiple crews remain on scene with power outages and road closures still in place. We expect smoke to remain in the area for several days as un burnt patches inside containment lines continue to burn.

Well done and thank you to all crews who assisted today.
