Gingerbread Village Yea Let’s create a gingerbread village for display before Christmas.

All locals, from the very young to the most senior, families, singles, schools, groups and businesses are invited to make some amazing gingerbread for our town display. Yea Gingerbread Village is intended to be an enjoyable, inclusive activity that will include and unite people across the lifespan, reduce isolation and build social cohesion. Just as gingerbread dough is created, the project will e

ncourage people to gather, sweeten, spice and build together. Participants will be asked to decorate their gingerbread creations and offer them for display prior to Christmas. Together we will celebrate shared skills and the journey that has been undertaken to create a festive display to be enjoyed by Yea residents and visitors.
