Well what a day
With a bright start and gorgeous sunrise, a handful of scratchings towards the end in the green 2 class from some who had multiple hours to drive home. We still got 100 runs completed and were fully packed up and presentations done before sunset.
Thanks to Zoe for some quick courses. We were happy to accommodate Zoe to be able run a clinic on Saturday in support for her journey to USA later this year for the exca world finals. Zoe will be back next month for round 2 and also will be doing another clinic.
Big thank you to everyone for supporting our shows. Traveling from far and wide. We had a number of volunteers on the day which is super appreciated but I would love to make some special mentions.
Amanda Kambouris for getting all the paperwork ready pre show and getting a good chunk of scores entered on the computer.
Brooke Seymour for coming purely to help scribing and doing data entry also.
The Brinsley family for doing the food orders and cooking up a great feed .
Viv Brient for also coming in to help and time keep most of the day.
Lastly to Jason Smyth- who not only popped in Saturday to say hello - but stayed and helped out being the chief arena pooper scooper and help set up- to coming back today and be the gate marshal and keep everyone ready and rearing to go.
Ready set go for round 2 !
