Bicycle Queensland and Mater Foundation have partnered to deliver this iconic event to further the health of communities across Queensland. Riders can choose from three distances – the classic 100km Brisbane to Gold Coast, 60km from Logan to the Gold Coast or 40km from Brisbane to Logan.

Mater Foundation joins the family of Australian Paralympic gold medallist Paige Greco and the wider cycling and para-sport communities in deeply mourning her tragic passing.

Paige, 28, a beloved Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer ambassador and celebrity volunteer within our Nine Telethon call centre, sadly passed away on Sunday in her Adelaide home after experiencing a sudden medical episode.

Mater Foundation wishes to acknowledge Paige’s infectious personality - grounded in kindness, determination and warmth - and pay tribute to her positive impact on our wider community.

Paige, who was born with cerebral palsy, won Australia’s first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Games and was a multiple winner of cycling’s world champion rainbow jersey.

Mater’s Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer has officially concluded for 2025—and what a day it’s been!

We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better community to ride with. Thank you for showing up. Not just today, but every day you’ve raised funds and awareness for life-changing research and cancer support.

We’ve heard countless stories today of hope, inspiration and legacy and we hope you feel a renewed sense of pride and belonging as part of our Mater B2GC family.
