What is Pod Projects Cambodia
Pod Projects Cambodia is a Registered Australian Charity dedicated to raising funds to empower, support & educate those in need. The origins of Pod Projects go back several years to when our little group of friends started to collect spare change in pickle jars
. From the humble pickle jar collections, a common theme amongst us to give back to the community was developed. Through fundraising and other supportive activities, our group was inspired to do what we could to help others. A group trip to Cambodia in April 2014 inspired us to become more socially conscious tourists also. A visit to Siem Reap in particular, touched our hearts. It’s only human to want to help those in need and we discovered we were not alone. People want to help those in need but often don’t know what to do or how best to do it.
Pod Projects was created to provide direct support to those in need. We create real world solutions to real world problems.
In Cambodia, our projects provide food, clean water, housing, and educational solutions. These projects provide direct solutions to families. Solutions that make a difference in their lives. We are dedicated to providing a hand up, not just a
hand-out, and consistently embrace our ethos of
