WIRE - Women's Information WIRE Women's Information provides support, referrals & information for all Victorian Women. Any Woman. Any issue. It's never too late to call.

WIRE is the only Victoria-wide generalist information and referral service run for women in Victoria and is a not-for-profit, independent organisation.

General information

WIRE has been listening and giving voice to women's experiences since 1984. Every year we answer close to 13,000 requests for information and assistance through the women's support line, walk-in Women's Information Centre and via email and online support. Our vision is that of a society where women are safe, respected, valued, informed, empowered and free to make genuine choices in their lives. WIRE is working towards being an Intersex, Trans, Gender Diverse-friendly service.
