Do you have a program, activity, or community group you’d love to bring to Jamieson Way Community Centre or Sporting Hall in 2027?

We’re looking forward to creating a diverse mix of programming that bring people together, build connection, support wellbeing and respond to the interests and needs of our local community.

Applications for 2027 regular hire are now open for both the Jamieson Way Community Centre and Sporting Hall.

When considering applications, priority will be given to activities that align with JamWay’s 2027 Community Focus Areas and contribute to a diverse mix of programs and opportunities for our community.

Join us at JamWay for Click & Create with Canva, a FREE hands-on workshop held as part of Get Online Week 2026.

Designed especially for older adults and seniors, this session will introduce you to Canva, an easy-to-use online design tool.

Whether you’re completely new to Canva or just want to feel more confident creating online, this session will guide you through the basics while giving you plenty of time to practise and get creative.

✨ You’ll learn how to:

• Use Canva templates and simple design tools
• Add and edit text, images and content
• Create your own card, invitation, flyer or other fun project
• Share your creations safely online
• Access free Be Connected resources to keep learning

Join us every Tuesday for a fun, welcoming and inclusive morning designed for children aged 0–5 years and their parents/carers. Enjoy play-based activities, meet other local families, and make new connections.

This playgroup will be shaped by the families who attend, so your ideas and interests will help it grow into a space that feels truly yours!
