Ever wondered how smoke alarms can save your life? 🚨
Installing them at the highest point on your ceiling, outside sleeping areas, gives you and your family the earliest possible warning giving you precious time to escape quickly and safely.

Life skills taught.
Safety conversations started.
Books in every child’s hands.

Spending time with the Riverwood Hornets Air Cadets last year was a powerful reminder that today’s young leaders are tomorrow’s first responders 🚨

We can’t wait to visit more community groups in 2026 and continue building confident, capable kids across our communities.

Merry Christmas from the LLS Charity,
We recorded this message on the 1st December, when Maxi & Leigh were last together after a big day visiting schools around the NSW/QLD border.
We wish you all the very best over the festive season and a happy New Year,
We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to 2026.

A few days of reflection our thoughts remain with the victims and families impacted last Sunday in the tragic events at Bondi.
Our thoughts are with the lifeguards, many first on scene, the first responders and members of the community who stepped in to help those in need.
As you can imagine, we have had many messages to check in on Maxi and we truly appreciate every single one of them.
We have built this charity to teach kids safety skills to survive their worst day, and that day this week was at Bondi, Maxi’s office.
This is why we do what we do, and we will never not be there to help educate kids to keep themselves safe and remind them that, in life, love always wins ❤️
Be kind to each other and make sure you look after yourself too.
Leigh

After a big start to the week on the Tweed Coast, LLS was back in South-West Sydney today at Hurlstone Agricultural High School.

spent the morning with the Year 7 and Year 10 students, sharing skills and knowledge in water safety, fire safety, first aid and resilience.

It’s our third year in a row visiting Hurlstone, and the enthusiasm from the kids never gets old. With school holidays just two weeks away, today was all about preparing them to stay safe, make smart decisions, and look out for each other.

Water Smart. Fire Safe. Life Ready.
Knowledge truly saves lives,
