Welcome to Southern Downs ASD Support Group. (Endorsed by Autism QLD). Our aim is provide a friendly and informative support network for anyone who is/has been affected by ASD, or anyone who is genuinely interested in learning about ASD. To introduce ourselves, we are two normal, everyday, run of the mill Mums, both married (not to each other lol). We saw the need for such a group so here we are.

Jean-Two girls. We hope to post tips, articles, current ASD affairs and our own anecdotes. Collectively we have loads of personal experience. We've seen it, heard it, tried it, been through it, are going through it and will go through it. You are welcome to introduce yourself, share your ASD journey, vent, post questions (and all of the above mentioned). We can all learn from each other. You are also welcome to message admin. We hope to get some healthy discussion happening. We are all here for the same reason. Both Admins are reformed "control freaks" (hmm possibly on the spectrum). Our ASD warriors have made us experts at "thinking outside the box" So please respect that everyone is entitled to an opinion. Bullying harassment and foul language will not be tolerated.
