🦸‍♂️💥 NATIONAL SUPERHERO WEEK + FATHER’S DAY FUN! 💙

What a super week we’ve had at Waroona Playgroup!

To celebrate National Superhero Week, our little superheroes took on our very own Superhero Academy 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ They worked their way through an obstacle course, testing their super strength, speed and skills as they trained to become the next generation of superheroes! 💥

The children also created their very own superhero wrist power bands to complete their superhero transformation. ⚡

For Father’s Day, we got crafty making special Father’s Day cards and some very cute “Nuts & Bolts” gifts for the dads, grandads and special father figures in our lives. 🔩💙

Our little gardeners were busy too! 🌱 They separated and planted out our seedlings, gave the veggie garden a good water, and it’s all looking fantastic. The children have loved getting involved and watching the garden continue to grow. 🥕🥬

Thanks to everyone who joined us for another fun-filled week at playgroup. We loved seeing all our little superheroes in action! 🌈

🌈 What a fun week at Waroona Playgroup! 🌈

🚲 Monday – Adventure to Railside Park
We headed out for a morning adventure at Railside Park! The children enjoyed riding their bikes and scooters, exploring the park, playing together and finishing the morning with a picnic. 🛝🚲☀️

📚 Wednesday – Book Week
We had such a lovely morning celebrating Book Week! We loved seeing the children dress up as their favourite book characters. 📖✨

Our Book Week activities included:
🐛 Feed the Hungry Caterpillar
🦁 Safari sensory table
🐘 Dear Zoo – build the animal enclosure

It was a fun morning filled with books, imaginative play and hands-on activities inspired by some favourite stories. 💛

A special day!

🏕️🌼 WHAT A FUN WEEK AT WAROONA PLAYGROUP! 🌼🏕️

We’ve had another busy week full of play, imagination and lots of little smiles! 💛

🏕️ Camping Day
Our little campers painted their own campfires, roasted marshmallows over our pretend fire, camped out in makeshift tents and explored a beach sensory table filled with sea life. 🔥⛺️🌊

🌼 Daffodil Day
We celebrated Daffodil Day with a morning full of yellow and lots of sensory fun! 💛

The children made their own daffodils 🌼, explored a ducks and feathers sensory activity 🦆🪶 and enjoyed a gorgeous bee-themed rice sensory activity brought along by Nikki from Parenting Connections. 🐝💛

A big thank you to Nikki for joining us and bringing another fun activity for the children to enjoy!
