Rochelle Bennett & Nathan Lamont WWT2 2025 Cancer has touched every corner of my family, leaving both heartbreak and hope in its wake. My amazing work family nominated me for Wagga Wagga Takes 2, 2025.

My goal is to raise awareness and funds for my local charity (RCCCT) so they can continue to provide maintenence and improvements to Riverina Cancer Care Centre. I have lived in Wagga Wagga my entire life and have been a primary school teacher for 18 years. Wagga Wagga Public School has been my home for over 14 of those years. I am a life member of the Turvey Park Softball Club, have played in nu

merous netball teams and my 3 children have long-term involvement in many sporting clubs in Wagga. My husband and I have owned a local construction business for over 25 years.

Feeling a little sad that my Wagga Takes 2 journey has come to an end - what an unforgettable experience! đź’›

A huge thank you to my beautiful family for their endless love and patience - you’ve been the calm in my storm.

To my incredible fundraising committee made up of friends, family, work family and Riverina Cancer Care Centre nurses - you are absolute legends! Together, with the amazing Wagga community, we raised an incredible $114,000 to enhance our chemotherapy unit.

To my talented singing partner Nath - thank you for believing in me and pushing me beyond what I thought possible. I’m your biggest fan!

To all the generous people and businesses who donated, sponsored, or helped in any way - thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity made every moment of this journey possible. đź’•

⛳️ The big Golf Day is finally here! We’re teeing off rain, hail or shine—so pack a warm jacket, bring an umbrella if needed, and don’t forget your biggest smile. Registration opens at 11:30am.
Whatever the weather brings, it’s going to be a fantastic day. If the course becomes too soggy, we’ll still enjoy great company, plenty of laughs, and good times together in the clubhouse or function room. Here’s hoping the weather gods are kind!
