WWT2 2025 journey- officially over & out! ✌🏻

Proud to share that when it was all said & done- i was able to hand over to Anglicare tonight a cheque for $48k

A final thank you to every single legend who helped make this possible by donating or lending a hand. How bloody great is our community, and to top it off our crew of 2025 has set a new fundraising record for the 19years of the show- raising over $512k combined, what an honour to share the experience with the best bunch of humans!

In closing- if you have ever considered embarking on this journey/challenge- do yourself the biggest favour and say ‘yes’ i promise the best will come from it, and that feeling of gratitude when handing over the funds to your charity will be an incredible life moment!

My WWT2 mentor, the one who had the pleasure (&pain) of taking me through this journey and turning our act to life!

I am so grateful for you, and that i got to share this experience with you. We have cemented an incredible bond from this, and although we already had a family connection before we were paired up, our time together one on one (or with a little plus 1 too) was something ill remember forever. It wasnt an easy task to commit to this show and the lead up/prep that goes into it, especially with a small baby, but you done it because you always prioritise this special show and also i know you done it for me, to be there by my side.
I was a handful for you when i went into over drive, over thinking, over planning, over stressing etc. but there you were, cheering me on loudly and proudly, telling me we’ve got it under control and for that i cant thank you enough. A definite Ying Yang we are! The money we have been able to raise for Anglicare is insane, and im privileged that we get to be a part of making that dream for Anglicare a reality. So thankyou for making my WWT2 experience the success that it was and for all of your efforts they were not unnoticed

An appreciation & shoutout post!

This incredible lady pictured here below with me is Jasmine Woodland, or affectionately known as Jaz!

Jaz and i were introduced years ago via the Wagga Wagga Takes 2 scene. We then became business associates and quickly Jaz & Woody became friends. They are both the most humble, genuine & kind people you could know and have the pleasure of calling friends, anyone who knows these 2 can vouch for that, what a pair!

Jaz is a senior case manager for Anglicare and i have seen first hand the extent of her tireless work, often long before the day starts and long after the work day should have ended. Jaz goes above & beyond for the clients of the Anglicare organisation, but its because she is so passionate and driven to support those vulnerable women & children in our community escaping DV.

When Jaz asked if i would consider taking on the challenge of WWT2 this year, how could i say no to something so incredibly important and if i somehow made a small contribution and helped Jaz and her team at Anglicare be able to offer a safe place to those escaping domestic violence then of course it was a Big YES!

As we kick off night 1 of our 3 shows i just wanted to pause and reflect on just what this experience means to me, to Jaz and Anglicare, but most importantly, what they will be able to hopefully achieve with our fundraising dollars.

Thank you Jaz, for giving me the inspiration and the push of courage to do this, for being a role model to me in our daily lives and for being a friend. You constantly give without expecting anything in return and i hope that my efforts have in some way been able to help your goal for Anglicare.

Let the fun begin, I cant wait to see the Anglicare team tonight at our opening show 🫶🏼🥂💙
