Friday Nights at the Farmers Home! 🥩

The Rotaract Club of Wagga Wagga is proud to partner with the Farmers Home Hotel selling raffle tickets for their Friday night meat raffles. We’re fortunate to come down every now and again on a Friday, with all funds being raised from our ticket sales going back to our club. Did I mention there’s four meat trays to win?! 🍖

We typically gather from 6pm, with the highly anticipated draw taking place at 7:30pm.

We are so incredibly grateful to the Farmers Home team, who generously donate all meat packs, allowing 100% of the proceeds to be reinvested into our community initiatives.

These funds are essential in supporting local initiatives and sponsoring young leaders to attend the National Youth Science Forum and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. It is a privilege to facilitate these opportunities for our region's youth while engaging with the local community.

Shout out to Grill’d - Wagga Wagga for their amazing support of The Rotaract Club through their Local Matters program.

How does the ‘Local Matters’ program help our club? 👀

• It allows community to choose which non-profit organisations theyd like to donate their ‘token’ to.
For reference: a token 🪙 comes with every burger order 🍔
All organisations receive a generous donation, with the most tokens accumulated receiving the largest.

(We were very lucky to be runners up for the month of October)

• It also allows community to hear our name out and about, and read up on what each organisation does before placing their token in a jar. This greatly supports our club through word of mouth, and spread positive awareness about what we do! ❤️

Grill’d-Wagga Wagga, thank you for your support of our club! ❤️🌸

We’re part of the Grill’d Local Matters program for the month of October! 🥳 🍔

If you're enjoying a delicious meal at Grill’d Wagga Wagga, we’d love your support. Please consider placing your token in our jar to help us raise funds for our club initiatives.

This year, we’ve just started sponsoring an NYSF student for Canberra, and with your help, we can create even more opportunities to support our local community!

If you’re a first-time visitor to Grill’d, here’s what you need to know: when you make an in-store purchase, you’ll receive a token that you can use to vote for your favorite cause. 💫

Just look for our jar with the Rotaract logo when you’re ready to cast your vote! Your contribution means a lot and helps us continue our work in the community.

Thank you for your support! Together, we can make a difference! ❤️🍔❤️

Today, Belinda and I had a wonderful experience at Uranquinty Hall for a fee-free first aid training! It was a full day packed with valuable lifesaving skills that we can't wait to bring back to our club and community. We're so grateful to the Wagga Wagga City Council for investing in this fantastic initiative, allowing locals to gain essential skills and two free certifications.

A huge shoutout to Rory from Wagga Wagga First Aid Training for his engaging and informative delivery, sharing his professional expertise within nursing and military to help us navigate real-life situations safely. We were thrilled to be joined by members of the Country Women's Association (CWA) and the Murrumbidgee Mens Group, making it a wonderful effort.

There are still a few dates available for Wagga & Oura, so if you're interested in signing up, just do a quick Google search for "free Wagga Wagga First Aid training."

- Celine ❤️
