It’s nice to see the Rotary District 9640 community getting behind the work of The Quiet Courage Foundation These ladies do such great work for cancer patients going through treatment. Thank you to the Mullumbimby Rotary Club for inviting us to be guest speakers last night. It was such a pleasure to share more about our charity, connect with your members, and spend the evening together.

One of our special moments from the night was a beautiful toast made by the Mullumbimby Rotary Club to our local Rotary Club of Coomera Valley, recognising the incredible support they have given our charity. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the Rotary Clubs across our community who have invited us to meetings, supported our work, or reached out along the way. Your encouragement, generosity, and belief in what we do means so much to us.

We are truly grateful for the Rotary community.

We’re delighted to welcome Adele K. Thomas to our Book Fair!

Adele is an illustrator, director, art director, producer and lecturer with more than 20 years of experience across animation, film and television design, children’s books, apps, education and brand advertising, including mascot design.

Her background in animation and screen design brings a wonderful sense of personality, movement and expression to her book characters, along with a beautiful versatility in style and colour.

Adele has illustrated more than 30 books for leading publishers including Penguin, HarperCollins, Scholastic and Hardy Grant. She has also worked on animation productions for Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Working Dog Productions, Cheeky Little and Hooligan Animation.

We are so excited to have Adele joining us and sharing her incredible creative journey with our community!

Adele will be with us on Saturday 13th at 1pm..
