We had the opportunity to promote our craft at the Royal Easter Show this year. Many thanks go to those members from Sydney, Sutherland and Golden West Branches who gave their time and shared their skills and talent over the 2 days that we were there. There were a variety items demonstrated frangipanis, native fuschia, blossoms, wafer paper flowers, moulded chef figure, roses, decorated Easter bunny biscuits, 'hands on' piping of sunflowers, royal icing techniques on biscuits which created a lot of interest.
It was a very good and successful experience.

Attention!! Important information re Sydney Branch meeting

It is with much sadness that we advise the passing of Jean Palmer on Sunday 11th January in Northern Beaches Hospital. Jean was a longstanding member of the Guild, a wonderful teacher, demonstrator and friend.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 20th January at 2pm, South Chapel Norther Suburbs Crematorium. This will be followed by a “wake” .Attendees at her funeral have been asked to wear bright clothing.
